Chapter 80

With Laura

Laura:(runs inside the house leaning against the door crying sliding down little by little)

Ellen:(walks down and sees Laura) Laura! (rushes up to her helping her up)

Laura:(keeps crying)

Ellen:(leads her to the couch sitting her down) Honey, what's the matter?

Laura: I--I--I...

Ellen: Calm down honey, I'll get you some water (gets up walking into the kitchen)

Laura:(cries hugging a pillow)

Ellen:(walks back with a cup of water in her hand passing it to Laura) Here honey

Laura:(drinks)

Ellen:(sits down next to her rubbing her back)

Laura:(puts the water down on the table calming down a bit)

Ellen: You ready to explain now?

Laura:(nods and takes a couple deep breathes) I.... broke up with Ross

Ellen: You what?! Why would you do that?

Laura:(Tears up) I couldn't take the guilt anymore mom. That secret was eating me alive and I kept hearing Maia's voice in my mind and I couldn't take it anymore, I just had to end it

Ellen: Oh sweetie (side hugs her)

Laura:(rest her head on her shoulder crying a bit)

Ellen: I'm so sorry

Laura:(wipes her tears away) It's not your fault mom

Ellen: I should've let you tell him and not keep it a secret

Laura:(Shakes her head) It's my decision mom, it's what I made and it's done

Ellen:(sighs) I'm still so sorry honey

Laura:(nods) I understand, I'm gonna go to bed

Ellen: You sure you're okay?

Laura:(nods) Yeah (goes upstairs to her room shutting it and laying down crying silently into her pillow)

Maia:(walks down) Mom, what was all that racket?

Ellen: Oh just your sister

Maia:(rolls her eyes) Oh okay then, it's nothing (about to go upstairs)

Ellen: She broke up with Ross

Maia:(stops and slowly turns around) What?

Ellen: She broke up with Ross, for you

Maia:(walks down) For me?

Ellen: She knows how much you love him and she didn't want anymore conflict between you two so she ended her relationship with Ross, for you

Maia: Oh

Ellen: Oh? That's it?

Maia: I'm just shocked. She really loved him

Ellen: Well you really love him too, isn't that right?

Maia: Yeah but still

Ellen: She did it for you Maia, all for you

Maia:(shocked) I-I'm gonna go to my room (goes upstairs to her room)

Ellen:(Sighs in frustration) Oh what a world I put my children in

A week has past and things have gone well.... okay I'd be totally lying about that. It's been hell. Laura & Ross are both heart broken. They haven't been out of their room's since they broke up. Maia is worrying about Ross, yeah that's right ONLY Ross. *horrible sister if you ask me*. Anyways Ellen has been trying to get Laura out of her room and get out but she doesn't answer, she just remains silent. Ross's family & Ratliff have been doing the same for Ross but still, nothing. Everything is going downhill for everything.
