Ross: Are you serious Maia?! From anything else that anyone could possibly want you want me to take you to the dance to hurt your sister's feelings! How shallow are you?!

Maia: You owe me a dance mister!

Ross: Why!? What nice thing did you possibly do for me that makes me owe you back?!

Maia: You just do! Okay!?

Ross: I'm not doing this! It's stupid!

Maia: Well it's either you do it or I'm not gonna forgive Laura!

Ross:(shakes his head) I don't need to do this! Laura should be happy that you're not in her life! All she really needs in a family is people who love her! I love her! My family loves her! Our friends love her! So screw you and your parents, she doesn't need them, Laura deserves better and you people are clearly not good enough for her! (storms off)

Maia:(mad and stomps away) Ugh!! (tips a garbage can over)

a nerd:(falls out of it) Woah! (falls to the ground and gets out) T-Thank you! (pushes his glasses up to his face and runs to class)

With Ross

Ross:(outside the field sitting on the stone pave bleachers just thinking and trying to calm down) I can't believe that girl! (takes a deep breathe out)

???:(from behind him) Can't believe what girl?

Ross:(turns his head around) Laura?

Laura:(Smiles weakly and walks over to him sitting next to him) Hey

Ross: Hey

Laura: Who can't you believe?

Ross:(sighs) You're sister

Laura: What did she do?

Ross:(explains their conversation to her)

Laura:(hugs him) Thank you for standing up to her

Ross:(smiles wrapping his arm around her) You're welcome, anything for you. What I meant was true, you don't need your sister or your parents, you have us and that's all you really need in a family, love, care and trust which we all have for you

Laura:(smiles) I know and you're right. As much as I want to have a proper family like everyone else I'll still have one just not with my sister and parents

Ross:(smiles) That's my girl

Laura:(blushes a bit) You don't have to try and get Maia to apologize to me, I'm way over trying to get my family back the same

Ross: Wasn't even going to after that discussion we had

Laura:(giggles) True

Riiiiiiiiiiing!

Laura: Oh the bell rang

Ross:(groans) I'm not really feeling the vibe to go to school

Laura: I know, me neither

Ross: You wanna ditch again?

Laura:(nods) Yeah

Ross: Let's see if the rest of them want to join our ditch day

Laura & Ross:(hold each other's hand and down the bleachers inside the school looking for their friends)

Laura: Found them (leads Ross to them)

Jen: Laur, where were you? That was a long bathroom break

Bradley: You too man, you had us worried
