The Next Day

Laura:(wakes up and sees no Ross beside her) Ross? Ross? (gets out of bed and does her morning stretches) (takes a shower and then changes into black and pink high low dress with black gladiator heels) (has her hair in loose curls hanging at the left side of her shoulder, light make up and bling) (grabs her bag and walks down) Hey mom

Ellen: Hey sweetie

Laura: Do you know where Ross is?

Ellen: He left

Laura:(sad) He did?

Ellen: He had to get ready for school

Laura: Oh... okay then

Ellen: You want me to drive you to school?

Laura:(shakes her head) I'm gonna walk?

Ellen: In those heels?

Laura:(smiles) I'll call Ross

Ellen:(smiles) Alright, I'm gonna head off to work now

Laura:(nods) Bye mom

Ellen:(kisses her cheek and walks out)

Laura:(Calls Ross)

Riker: Hello?

Laura: Riker?

Riker: Oh hey Laura

Laura: Where's Ross?

Riker: Oh he's taking a shower

Laura: Oh... okay then

Riker: Did you want me to tell him that you called?

Laura: Um no. Thanks though, bye (hangs up and sighs) I guess I'm walking then (walks out and walks to school) It's so far!

A car pulls over

???: Need a ride?

Laura: Noah?

Noah:(smiles) Hi, so need a ride?

Laura: Sure (gets in)

Noah:(drives to school) Why are you walking? I thought Ross would drive you

Laura: He's taking a shower so I couldn't get him to drive me home

Naoh: Well that sucks

Laura: Yeah but it's fine

Noah: So how was meeting Ross's family?

Laura: Really weird. We watched Ross's childhood videos

Noah:(laughs) No way! You have to tell me everything

Laura: I would but then you would just tease Ross about that

Noah: It shows how much I care for him

Laura:(Rolls her eyes) Whatever

Noah:(parks the car) Here we go

Laura: Thanks Noah (gets out and walks in the school to her locker putting in her combination and getting her things for first period)

Ross:(wraps his arms around her) Hey beautiful

Laura:(smiles) Hey

Ross:(kisses her cheek and opens his locker)

Laura: Why didn't you wake me up that you were leaving?

Ross: You were sleeping so beautifully I didn't want to wake you up

Laura:(smiles) Awe

Ross:(smiles) You were very cute though

Laura:(blushes) Listen, about the--

Ross: Please don't bring it up Laura. It just makes me feel like I'm a jerk

Laura: You weren't, I was

Ross: No you weren't

Laura: Oh yes I was

Ross:(kisses her)

Laura:(smiles kissing back)

Ross:(slowly pulls away but lingers his lips on hers)

Laura:(smiles)

Ross:(smiles pulling away) You weren't the jerk Laur, you were just wanting to make your sister happy. I understand that

Laura:(nods) Can you at least do one dance with her?

Ross:(smiles) Anything for you gorgeous (kisses her cheek)

Laura:(smiles) Thanks

Ross:(holds her hands) So... Ms. Marano

Laura:(smiles) Mr. Lynch

Ross: Would you do me the honor of being my date to the dance?

Laura:(smiles) I'd love too

Ross:(smiles) Great

Maia:(walks up to her) Hey guys

Laura: Hey sis

Maia: Remember we have to get to the field after school right away

Laura: Oh right. I got it

Maia: So how was meeting Shor's parents?

Ross:(chuckles) Well I g2g, I don't want to get involve with this girl talk (messes up Laura's hair and walks away)

Laura:(fixes her hair) Meanie!

Ross: Thanks!

Laura:(rolls her eyes playfully) So what's up sis?

Maia: Now that Ross is gone I need to talk to you about something

Laura:(rolls her eyes) For the last time. He's just taking me to the dance as a friend, nothing more nothing less

Maia: I know but why did he ask you though?

Laura: Okay... I'll try not to be offended by that

Maia: Sorry but still

Laura: Bc no one asked me out and you know how the dance is just around the next corner

Maia: I know but you could've gone with someone else

Laura:(shrugs) There's no one I like at this school

Maia: Why didn't you go to the dance with Luke, Bradley & Noah?

Laura: Bc they all have dates

Maia:(Sighs) Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really perplex on why Ross asked you out

Laura: It's alright and he just asked me out bc he was being a nice friend

Maia:(nods) Okay

Laura: Anyways, about the Shor thing

Maia:(smiles)

Laura: We ate, we also got embarrassed then we watched his baby clips

Maia:(laughs) Did you see him bathing?

Laura:(nods laughing)

Maia: That is hilarious

Laura:(nods) It was and he would always blush from embarrassment

Maia: Awe. When are we gonna meet him anyways?

Laura: Well.... he's going to be travelling around the world for a year so.... I don't know

Maia: That must suck. You won't be able to see him for a while

Laura:(nods) We're gonna try long distance relationship

Maia: Hope that one last sis. Alot of those don't last

Laura:(nods) Thanks

Maia: Well I g2g cya (walks away)

Laura:(takes a deep breathe and walks to class)
