The Next Morning

everyone:(eating breakfast)

Stormie: Where's Ross & Laura?

Ross:(walks down)

Riker: Where's Laura?

Ross: I thought she was with you guys

Rocky: No, we thought she was still asleep with you

Ross:(runs upstairs to his room)

everyone:(follows him)

Ross:(looks all over his room) Where is she?

Mark:(opens the closet) Ross, none of her clothes are here

Ross: What? (looks in the closet) No no no

Ryland: Um Ross

Ross:(looks at him)

Ryland:(holds up a letter) It's from Laura

Ross:(rushes up to him and takes teh letter reading it)

Dear Ross,

I know it's sudden and all and you're probably freaking out where I am but I'll tell you to stop your worrying. I ran away, I'm not telling you where because then you'll be searching for me and I don't want you to do that. I only want what's best for you. I've been the whole reason why your band isn't doing so well and I want you to pursue your dream so I'm leaving you. I know this is the worst way to say goodbye but I have no other option left. I love you Ross, I really do. It hurts for me to leave you and California but I have to do what's best. I love you and I hope that you'll understand everything. I'm sorry Ross, goodbye and I mean it. Ross:(drops the letter on the floor staying frozen as tears stream down his face)

Mark: Son? Are you okay?

Ross:(drops to his knees crying his heart out)

Stormie:(hugs him)

Ross:(cries in his shoulder)

Riker:(reads the note out loud) The reason why she left? What does she mean?

Rydel: Well.....

Rocky: What did you do Rydel?

Rydel: I may have talked to Laura while you guys were taking your shots

Ryland: What did you do?

Rydel: What? All I said was that she is distracting him and is keeping him away from his dream

Ross:(looks at her) What

Mark: Rydel, how could you

Rydel: What? What I said to her was true

Ross:(stands up) HOW COULD YOU!?

Riker: Rydel, you just ruined our little brother's love life

Rydel: No I didn't. I think him and Laura's relationship is a mistake and she was distracting him a lot, you guys know it

Rocky: So? If we were agreeing with you or not it doesn't matter, we knew this was gonna happen but it didn't bother us that much bc we knew how much Ross & Laura love eachother. They're just being teenagers which they are

Ross: YOU RUINED EVERYTHING RYDEL!! GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!

Rydel: R-Ross, I'm sorry

Ross: YOU'RE SORRY HUH?! (laughs) IT'S TO LATE NOW RYDEL!! SHE'S GONE!! SHE'S GONE AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! (more tears start to flow) You ruined my happiness

Stormie: Rydel to your room now. We're gonna have a serious talk

Rydel:(nods and walks to her room)

Mark:(looks at the guys) Can you give us a minute with Ross, guys?

R/R/R:(nods and walks out)

Stormie: Sit down honey (Sits him down sitting next to him as Mark's on the other side of him)

Ross:(Cries) S-She ru-ruined ev-everything mom

Stormie:(hugs him) I know honey, I'm so sorry

Mark: Did she say where she was going?

Ross:(shakes his head) I lost her

Stormie:(rubs his back trying to calm him down)

Ross:(cries into her shoulder) (crying his heart out)

Stormie:(looks at Mark)

Mark:(looks at her but then at Ross)

Stormie & Mark:(try to calm and comfort Ross)

With Laura

Laura:(*Already on the plane* reading a magazine)

flight attendant:(on the microphone) We will be landing shortly, please put your seats up..... yadda yadda yadda

Laura:(reclines her seat up and looking out the window to see Italy) I'm back (smiles weakly)

Soon the plane boards and everyone gets out

Laura:(walks in the airport looking around)

???: Laura! Laura!

Laura:(looks to the person calling her and smiles walking up to them) Hey dad (hugs him)

Damiano:(hugs her back) Hey princess

Laura:(pulls out of the hug)

Damiano: You look beautiful

Laura:(smiles) Thanks daddy

Damiano: Ready to go home?

Laura:(nods)

Damiano & Laura:(grabs Laura's bags and gets in Damiano's limo)

Laura: Love the limo dad

Damiano:(smiles) It's what you get for owning teh biggest company in the world

Laura:(giggles)

Damiano: So how have you been doing?

Laura: Okay I guess

Damiano: What do you mean by I guess?

Laura:(explains everything to Damiano)

Damiano: You had a boyfriend?

Laura:(nods) He's the best thing that's ever happened to me when we moved from Italy to Cali (tears up) Well was

Damiano:(wipes her tears away) No need to cry princess, you must really love him

Laura: I do but I was the reason that kept him away from his dream so I'm doing what's best for him. I want him to pursue his dreams

Damiano: That's very sweet of you baby girl

Laura: Yeah

Damiano: Once we get home you should go right to sleep, you've probably had a long day

Laura:(nods) Thanks dad

Damiano:(nods) No problem sweetie
