The Next Morning

Maia & Ellen:(downstairs eating breakfast)

Laura:(walks down all happy) Good morning my beautiful mother and my talented sister

Maia:(confused) What's up with you?

Ellen:(smiles)

Laura: Oh nothing. I just have a date tonight

Maia:(squeals) AH!!! This is huge! Who is it?

Laura: Um... (thinks) Shor

Maia: Shor? Is he in our school or something?

Laura:(nods) Yup

Maia: Oh. I didn't know we had a Shor in our school

Laura: Well.... keep up!

Maia: Whatever. So where are you two going?

Laura:(smiles) The movies

Maia: Simple I see. That's adorable! (Smiles)

Laura: I know. He's really sweet and cute

Maia: I hope I get to meet him some time

Laura:(nervously smiles) Yup...

Ellen: Well I'm very happy Laura

Laura:(smiles and sits down eating)

Maia:(hears a phone ringing) Laura? Is that yours?

Laura:(nods)

Maia: I'll get it (goes upstairs to Laura's room and grabs her phone) (answers it) Hello?

???: Hey, is this Laura?

Maia:(screams and runs down)

Laura: What the heck Maia

???: Hello? Laura?

Maia: I-It's Ross!

Laura:(takes the phone and steps outside at the backyard) Hello?

Ross: Hey Laura, is that you?

Laura: Yeah. Sorry about the bleeding eardrums. That was my sister

Ross:(chuckles) I heard

Laura: So, why did you call?

Ross: I just wanted to talk about our date

Laura: Don't freak out about it Ross. I'm gonna go

Ross:(chuckles) I know

Laura: Then what?

Ross: Do you want to do something else then that?

Laura: Um... I don't know. Surprise me

Ross: Oh great... now I have to think of more (whines)

Laura: Oh shut it. You brought this to yourself buddy. You're the one who wanted to go out with me

Ross: I know but I didn't think I had to do so much

Laura: Well that's the price you get for asking me out

Ross: Whatever. So... 6:00pm right?

Laura: You're the one who arranged the whole thing

Ross:(whines) Just say yes

Laura:(smiles) Yes

Ross:(smiles) Good

Laura: I can't wait to see you

Ross: Same here. It's been like forever! (whines)

Laura:(giggles) Not since last night

Ross: I know but still

Laura:(blushes) That's cute

Ross: So, what's up?

Laura:(sits on the porch swing swinging) Just outside, talking to you swinging on my porch swing

Ross: I know

Laura: You know? (confused) What?

Ross:(hangs up)

Laura: Hello? Ross?

???:(taps her shoulder) Hey

Laura:(turns around) Oh my god! Ross (hugs him)

Ross:(hugs back)

Laura: What are you doing here?

Ross: I just wanted to see you

Laura:(smiles) Awe but now you have to get out of here before my sister sees you

Ross: Call your mom if the coast is clear for us to go in

Laura: Okay (calls Ellen)

Ellen: Hello?

Laura: Mom, it's me. Is Maia anywhere to be seen?

Ellen: No. She went to get the mail

Laura: Okay thanks and don't let Maia go in my room

Ellen: Okay

Laura:(hangs up and grabs Ross's hand) Let's hurry (drags him upstairs to her room)

Ross:(looks around her room) Nice place you got here

Laura: Thanks (smiles)

Ross:(crashes on her bed)

Laura:(lays next to him)

Ross:(wraps his arms around her) I'm am so excited for our date

Laura: Same here. Did you think of anything yet to continue our date?

Ross:(nods) But I'm not telling you. It's gonna be a surprise

Laura:(groans) I hate surprises

Ross: Well you're gonna love this one

Laura: I still hate surprises

Ross:(chuckles) Whatever

Laura: What movie are we gonna see?

Ross: I don't know. We'll have to figure it out when we're there

Laura:(nods) Okay but it better not be scary

Ross: Why?

Laura: I'm scared of them

Ross: Don't worry, so am I

Laura:(giggles)

Ross: What?

Laura: Is Ross Shor Lynch afraid of scary movies?

Ross:(blushes in embarrassment looking down) Whatever

Laura:(kisses his cheek smiling) I think that's cute

Ross:(smiles) Thanks

Laura: Okay. Just to let you know.... Maia knows about our date

Ross:(eyes widen) What?!

Laura: Shut up will ya? I told her that I have a date tonight but with a guy named Shor

Ross:(jealous) Who is this Shor? I'm gonna beat the crap outta him! (clenches him)

Laura: Wow wow wow! Calm down before you turn all hulk like. I used your middle name instead

Ross: Oh... that's better

Laura:(Rolls her eyes) Whatever

Ross:(checks the time) I better get going (kisses her cheek) Cya gorgeous

Laura:(blushes) How are you gonna get out?

Ross: I'll climb out of your window

Laura: Be careful

Ross:(nods) Bye

Laura: Bye Ross (blows him a kiss)

Ross:(pretends to catch it ad put it in his heart) (winks at her and leaves)

Laura:(smiles and lays on her bed smiling big) That boy (sighs in love)
