Ross: Laura, is there something that you wanted to tell me?

Laura:(snaps out of sadness) Oh yeah. I was gonna.... was gonna

Maia:(looks at her confused tilting her head)

Laura: I was gonna ask you if you had the work sheets for science

Ross: Oh yeah, I'll be right back (kisses Maia's cheek and runs upstairs to his room)

Laura:(sad trying really hard to fight the tears)

Rydel:(looks at Laura) (whispers) I'm so sorry

Laura:(nods standing up) I uh.... I got to go

Maia: What about the papers for science?

Laura: I don't need them anymore (Grabs her jacket and walks out getting in her car and drives away letting the tears fall)

With Ross

Ross:(looking through his window seeing Laura driving away) (sighs) Awe, she left

Maia:(knocks on his door) Ross? (walks in)

Ross:(turns around) Oh hey sweetie

Maia:(walks up to him wrapping her arms around his waist from behind) My sister left and doesn't need those papers

Ross: Oh okay

Maia:(can tell something's wrong) Are you okay babe?

Ross:(Cringes at what she said) Y-Yeah just a little thinky

Maia: You want to talk about it?

Ross:(shakes his head) Nah but I'm alright, I promise

Maia:(smiles) Okay (gets in front of him and kisses him wrapping her arms around his neck)

Ross:(sighs and kisses back resting his hands on her waist)

Rydel:(about to walk in but sees Ross & Maia kissing) (sighs shaking her head and walks back down) This is not gonna help with Raura getting back together

With Laura

Laura:(walks in the house slamming the door shut crying sitting on the couch)

Ellen:(walks in) Oh Laura, are you okay? (sits next to her)

Laura:(shakes her head)

Ellen: What's wrong?

Laura:(tries to speak) I-I blew i-it

Ellen: What? Laura why don't we get you some water and relax honey (leads her into the kitchen sitting her at the table getting her water) (sits in front of her passing her the water) Here

Laura:(drinks the water)

Ellen:(looks at her really curious to what's going on)

Laura:(calms down a bit)

Ellen:(wipes her tears) You ready to talk now sweetie?

Laura:(takes deep breathes) R-R-Ross & M-Maia

Ellen: What about them?

Laura:(tears up) T-Th-They're together

Ellen:(eyes widen)

Laura:(cries)

Ellen:(rushes up to Laura's side hugging her) I'm so sorry baby girl (rubs her back)

Laura:(cries into her shoulder) I-I blew i-i-it mommy

Ellen: It's gonna be okay Laura, it's gonna be okay (sighs)

The Next Day

Ellen:(walks downstairs seeing Laura on the couch asleep looking so sad) (sighs kissing Laura's head and starts making breakfast)

Maia:(walks in) Morning mom

Ellen: Where were you sweetie?

Maia: I slept over at Ross's house (smiles big) Did you know that Ross & I are--

Ellen: Together? I know

Maia: Oh, did Laur tell you?

Ellen:(nods) You just started dating and you're already sleeping in the same room with him?

Maia: What? Of course not! I'm not like that mom. I slept in the guest bed room

Ellen: Oh okay

Maia:(yawns) I'm still gonna get some zzzz's (looks at Laura) Why is Laura asleep on teh couch?

Ellen: Oh she was studying and fell asleep

Maia: Where's her homework then?

Ellen: I put it away in her backpack

Maia: Oh okay, call me when it's breakfast (goes upstairs)

Ellen:(sighs looking at Laura) Oh my poor honey

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Ellen:(opens the door) Hey girls, come on in

Becky & Jen:(walks in)

Becky: Is Laura okay to hang out?

Ellen:(sighs) I don't think so

Jen: Oh really? Why?

Ellen: Well yesterday she was going to see Ross and get back together with him--

Becky & Jen: Yay!

Laura:(jolts up awake) Huh?

Ellen: Oh morning sweetie

Laura:(looks at her sadly)

Ellen: I'll let Laura tell you guys the rest (goes back in the kitchen)

Becky & Jen:(sits next to her)

Jen: She told us that you were going to get back together with Ross

Laura:(sighs) Let's talk in the backyard (goes outside with the girls following her)

Becky: So... you wanna talk?

Laura:(tears up) I finally came to my senses and was going to get back together with Ross. I wanted to have my other half back, my life back but unfortunately I was to late (lets her tears fall) He fell for Maia which was no surprise to me since this has happened many times before but.... this is different, it has a big impact on me than all the others

Jen: Bc he's the one Laura

Laura: What?

Becky: Ross is the one for you

Laura:(shakes her head) He's not guys. He likes Maia and it's done

Jen: But maybe there's something to this. I mean we all know that Ross didn't like her like that at all in the beginning let alone a friend

Laura: That was the past guys, this is now. Ross likes Maia and Maia got her wish, it's over

Becky: All of these kind of things have a happy ending, not a tragic one

Laura: This isn't a fairy tale, it's reality and there's a difference. Fairy tales are a thing that you want to live in, which I do but can't. Reality is something that will bite you in the butt and try to destroy you. It's life and you can't change it

Jen: But Laura, this isn't right. There has to be something up to this relationship

Becky: Maybe Ross is trying to get you back

Laura: If he would try getting me back which he isn't going to, he should've just talked to me not make me jealous. He's not that stupid guys

Jen: Well you would always stop the conversation when it comes to your relationship

Laura: I guess

Becky: Don't worry, we'll figure it out

Laura:(smiles weakly) That's sweet and all but I don't want you guys to meddle in with my sister and best friend's relationship. It's cool guys, I'll be fine

Jen: You sure?

Laura:(nods) I promise I'll get over this (hugs them) Thanks guys

Becky & Jen:(hugs back) anything for you Laura

Laura:(sighs deeply)
