The Next Day

Laura & Ross:(still asleep in Ross's bed)

Laura:(wakes up and looks at Ross still asleep) (smiles and kisses his lips gently and gets out of bed walking down)

Stormie: Morning Laura

Laura:(smiles) Morning Stormie (stretches)

Rydel:(walks down) How was your date day with Ross? (smiles big raising her eyes up and down)

Laura:(giggles) First of all you're looking like a doofus and second of all the best day ever! (smiles big)

Rydel:(smiles) Awe! How romantic!

Laura: I know (puts her hands on her heart)

Stormie:(smiles) I'm glad you and Ross had a good time together. Did he tell you about the thing?

Laura:(confused) What thing?

Stormie: About Maia

Laura: What about Maia? What's going on?

Rydel: Mom, stop talking now

Stormie: Oops...

Laura: Stormie, what are you talking about?

Stormie: It's nothing. Ross should tell you, not me

Laura: But--

Ross:(walks down) Morning guys (leans in to kiss Laura's cheek)

Laura:(leans back and looks at him with her arms crossed and mad)

Ross: Uh oh... what did I do?

Laura: What were you suppose to tell me about my sister?

Ross: Oh yeah..... that

Laura: Yeah that

Ross: Um.... (looks at his sister and mom) Let's talk in private (grabs her hand and leads her out to the back yard)

Laura: Will you explain now? (yanks her hand out of his)

Ross:(sighs) Just sit with me on the hammock (sits on the hammock making room for Laura to sit)

Laura:(Sighs and sits down) Now will you explain?

Ross: Alright. Before they let me out for good they asked me something

Laura: Which is?

Ross: They asked me if I wanted to press charges against Maia or not

Laura:(shocked) What?

Ross: I didn't say anything yet, don't worry. I told them that it was your decision since I knew she was your sister and all. They're expecting a call now

Laura:(sighs and looks down)

Ross:(lifts her chin up) I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner Laur. I was just having so much fun with our day together that I must've forgotten

Laura: It's alright Ross, I just can't believe I have to make this decision

Ross: They're expecting one today Laura, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner

Laura: It's alright (takes a deep breathe running her hand through her hair in frustration) I just don't know what to pick. Yes or no

Ross:(looks at her) I can call them and ask them to over time it so you can have more time

Laura: Alright, thanks

Ross: No problem. Let's go inside so we can eat breakfast
