At the Lynch's house

Ross & Laura:(watching tv in the living room)

Ross:(laying his head on Laura's lap)

Laura:(playing with his hair)

Ross: I'm nervous

Laura: What about?

Ross: About the game that's gonna be coming up soon. The recruiter from _____ is gonna be checking my every move and I'm worried

Laura: You're gonna do fine Ross, I'm gonna cheer for you so loud that you'll only be hearing me out of everyone

Ross:(smiles a little) Thanks Laur

Laura: But it be kind of hard since that would take a lot of screaming

Ross:(chuckles) Yeah

Laura: But I'm still gonna be cheering

Ross: What about Maia?

Laura: She got kicked off the squad a little while back

Ross: Why?

Laura: We were practicing the pyramid and she was at the bottom and she let go of the person who she was holding and we were all tumbling down

Ross: Were you okay?

Laura:(nods) Yeah, it only hurt for a bit

Ross:(Sighs in relief) Wait.... were you at the top?

Laura: Yeah but I was fine

Ross: You said 'was' that's past tense, you're not okay!

Laura:(rolls her eyes) I'm fine smarty pants

Ross: Oh

Laura: So yeah, I'll be cheering you on (kisses his cheek)

Ross:(smiles a bit) Thanks Laura

Laura: Yup and you shouldn't be worried anyways, you have a 90% chance of getting in

Ross: I guess

Laura: And he won't be staring at you all the time, he'll be keeping watch of Bradley, Luke & Noah

Ross: Guess you're right

Laura: Unless he there's more than him

Ross:(sighs) I don't want to disappoint anyone

Laura: Why do you think you'll disappoint people?

Ross: My dad got a football scholarship just like me

Laura: Yeah

Ross: He was about to play till my mom told him that she was pregnant, he was torn, either he'd go do his scholarship but that'd mean he'd have to leave my mom and the unborn baby for years

Laura: Oh

Ross: So my dad picked my mom over his scholarship so he could raise the unborn baby which was Riker and yeah

Laura: I understand why you're so worked up over this

Ross:(nods) I told him and he's really proud of me and I don't want to disappoint him

Laura: You're not gonna Ross

Ross: Thanks Laur but I don't know, I do mess up a lot

Laura: That may be so

Ross:(chuckles) Thanks

Laura:(smiles) But I know you'll do amazing and get that scholarship and make everyone proud, and even if you don't get it we'll still be proud of you
