Over the last month, things between Draco and I had improved significantly. Things were great, really. It was just suddenly so easy. Draco and I spent the majority of our time together. He'd walk with me to class and when we had different classes, he'd walk me to mine and give me a kiss before heading off to his own. Even Pansy had given up on trying to torment me. Although Draco and I were in a very good place and he was often smiling and laughing around me, I still knew something was going on. I could see the distant look in his eyes that told me something heavy was still weighing on him, but I just made sure that I could be a good distraction so that he didn't fall too deeply into whatever was going on.

Today I was meeting Hermione in the library to do some homework. She smiled brightly at me as I walked over to the table she was sitting at. Hermione and I made a point of doing homework together every Sunday afternoon, and it was a tradition I was grateful for. We sat next to one another in the majority of our classes, so it wasn't like I didn't get the chance to talk to her, but we had a routine of catching up and then working on schoolwork on Sundays.

"You called it." Hermione said, telling me about Ginny and Dean breaking up.

"I did." I nodded before frowning slightly. "She's been sort of distant ever since Draco and I got together. I mean, I know he has a reputation and a past, and that Harry has been probably saying some things, but I don't know."

"I wouldn't worry too much about it. Especially since she's been going through her own stuff with Dean. She hasn't said much about you and Draco to me. She did make one comment a few weeks ago about how he's just going to hurt you." Hermione sighed. "Look, everyone is going to have their own opinions on everything. That's just how it is. While I don't think Draco's been the greatest person, I trust you and I know you are capable of making your own decisions. Honestly, if Draco were a Death eater, I couldn't see you changing who you are and what you believe in to go follow him to the dark side."

I gave Hermione a small smile. If only she knew. If only I could tell her. But she was absolutely right, I will never do that. "Thanks, Hermione. I mean it sucks when not all your friends are supportive, but at least I have you. You and Blaise, the two of you would probably gang up and end Draco if he ever hurt me."

Hermione laughed at this. "I think you're right about that."

"Draco..." I drawled out, Draco's lips moving down my neck. "Anyone could come down."

"No one is going to come down." Draco said, lifting his head up to look at me. It was late at night and Draco and I were the only two people in the common room. "Besides, isn't that part of the excitement?"

I rolled my eyes at his cheeky smirk and he took the opportunity to drag me onto his lap so that I was straddling him. "Don't you want me?" He murmured lowly, his hands squeezing my ass as he dipped his head down to kiss my neck once again. I sighed, running my fingers through his hair.

"Of course I want you." I mumbled, lazily draping my arms over his shoulders. "All I'm saying is, someone could come down and see us."

"Well, my darling," Draco rubbed his hands down my thighs, rubbing them back up and under my loose pajama shorts, his fingers gripping at the skin of my hips. "You have these nice, stretchy shorts on. All I'd have to do is pull them to the side like so," Draco pulled my shorts to one side from the front, his finger running teasingly over the front of my thong. I let out a shaky breath, unable to believe I was even entertaining this idea. I mean, it was pretty late...

"Grab that blanket." I said, nodding towards the blanket at the end of the couch. "Lift your hips." I tugged down Draco's bottoms just enough so that his dick was out. He looked up at me in shock, to which I just raised an eyebrow at him. "Blanket?"
