"Are you ready for this?" Hermione asked me as we stood in the kitchen of the Burrow.
"Yeah, I think so. Are you?" I asked her.
"Yeah. It'll go fine." She said, trying to reassure the both of us.
"It has to." I said under my breath, chewing at my lower lip. Now that the time had actually come, I was nervous about the mission. Not nervous in the way that I wished I hadn't signed up for it, but nervous nonetheless. We all knew that it would be risky, but no one could be sure just how dangerous it would end up being.
"Alright, you lot. It's time." Moody called out, causing a series of footsteps from various areas of the home to begin moving towards the front door.
My mother grabbed my arm before I could fully step outside of the house, pulling me into a tight hug. "Be safe." She said to me before she gave my father a kiss and said the same thing.
"Ready?" My father asked me. I gave him a confident nod and then we were off.

Harry was arguing with Moody, insisting that we couldn't all put our lives in danger for him when Hermione came up behind him and yanked at his hair. Harry shouted out, rubbing at the back of his head as Hermione dropped the hairs into the flask of Polyjuice.
"Thank you." Moody said with a nod to Hermione. "Alright, everyone knows the plan? Those of you who are going to be our Harrys, take a sip of this. We've got a change of clothes for each of you. Harry, you'll be riding with Hagrid. Everyone else, you now who you're riding with. Let's get this show on the road!"
The flask of Polyjuice was passed around, each of us taking a swig and grimacing at the taste. Within seconds Hermione, Ron, Fleur, Fred, George, Mundungus Fletcher, and myself had transformed into Harry Potter. The twins immediately pointed at one another and laughed.
"Alright, alright. Everyone change. Quickly please!" Remus announced.
We all were quick to change, each of us feeling antsy to embark on the trip back to the Burrow. We all partnered up once again, and pairs began taking off into the night sky. I sat in front of my father on our shared broomstick. While we would both be ready to shoot spells if need be, he was going to be playing more of the lookout role while I would navigate us.
It didn't take long for us to learn that this would not be an easy ride back. Swarms of Death eaters seemed to appear out of nowhere, zooming in between the lot of us. It was clear that our little trick had them stumped, but I was sure that wouldn't stop them from attacking each and every Harry Potter they could find. My father grasped onto the broom, jolting us around in a sickening way, but it saved us from blasts shooting through the air.
"Stupefy!" I shouted, the spell hitting a Death eater that was nearing us on our right side. My father guided us down lower, where we could better see where the Death eaters were focusing their attention. There were quite a few going after Hermione and Kingsley so my father led us in that direction so that we could help in fighting off that group of Death eaters. I watched as the black smoke of the Death eaters would fall or pull back, causing my mind to flicker over to thoughts of Draco for a moment. I doubted he was involved in this considering Voldemort had more skilled followers, but naturally I still worried.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized we were descending. My feet hit the ground and I quickly dismounted the broom, looking around. We were in what appeared to be an empty field.
"Are you alright?" My father asked, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You did very well. I'm proud of you."
"Thanks, dad." I said with a small smile. "Yeah, I'm alright."
