I stayed in my bed during dinner. It wasn't just that I had no appetite, but I couldn't bear to be around people right now. I wasn't embarrassed about the fact that I had flipped out on Harry, but the then running through the halls with makeup smeared on my face and my now puffy, red eyes weren't exactly a boost to my ego. I heard someone enter the dorm, but I just rolled over so that my back was to the door and my face was pressed into my pillow.
"Draco made me come tell you he wants to see you." An annoyed Pansy said from by the door.
"Good for him. I don't want to see him." I replied, refusing to move an inch. There was silence for about a minute before I heard Pansy retreating down the stairs. She couldn't have possibly paused out of concern, it had to be because she's nosy.

The next morning, I stayed in bed rather than going down to breakfast. It was Sunday so I had nowhere I needed to be and with my stomach not rumbling, I didn't see the need to leave my bed. My head felt heavy from all of the crying that I had done the night before and I really just wanted to be in the dark.
I was woken up by the sound of someone scoffing and kicking my bed. "Hey, are you going to get up today or what?" Pansy asked, standing at the foot of my bed.
I groaned, rolling over to shoot my cousin a glare. "Why the hell do you care?"
"I honestly don't." Pansy said, fake yawning to emphasize her boredom. "Whatever this is," she pointed at me, wrinkling her nose in disgust, "it's pathetic."
I rolled my eyes, raising my hand to flip her off before I rolled back over. It had to be afternoon by now, which meant I'd completely wasted my weekend and had gotten no schoolwork done. And I'd bailed on mine and Hermione's weekly library date. I figured she'd understand.
By the time dinner rolled around, I finally decided to get out of bed and get dressed. I hadn't eaten since lunch the day before and I probably wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I didn't eat. Well, that and with how much I'd slept during the day.
I threw my hair up in a high ponytail and glanced at the time on my way out of the dorm. Dinner should be about halfway through by now. My stomach twisted slightly as I entered the Great Hall. I was honestly hoping that people had started to clear out, but that wasn't the case. As I made my way to the Slytherin table I saw Blaise's face was lit up as he talked to Draco, Draco smirking slightly in return.
Reluctantly, I dropped down across the two boys, not looking at them as I grabbed a piece of chicken. "Gemma!" Blaise exclaimed, making me look up. "I was just telling Draco how you tore Harry a new one yesterday. Honestly, man, if you had just seen her go off on him. It was wicked."
Draco was still smirking at Blaise's words, but I could see the concern in his eyes. "Well he got what he deserved." I said quietly, shrugging my shoulders slightly. Blaise wasn't oblivious as to my current state, but he seemed to keep up the chatter so that I wouldn't have to sit in an uncomfortable silence.
I managed to take two bites of the drumstick I'd grabbed before I tossed it down onto my plate and wiped my fingers off on a napkin. "Well, I'm off to bed." I said.
"But you barely ate." Draco said, watching me carefully.
"And?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
"And you weren't at the last three meals." Draco said, raising his eyebrows right back at me. If I didn't feel so emotionally drained, I probably would have made a snappy response, but I just did not have it in me.
As I stood up, Draco stood up too. "I think we should talk, Gemma." He said softly.
"And I agree, we definitely need to talk." I said with a sigh. "But I just don't have it in me right now."
