Hermione had taken to spending more time with me ever since Ron had begun to date Lavender. I had to admit that the two were quite gross together, always snogging messily and putting on a display.
"It's just – don't they need to breathe!" Hermione exclaimed in exasperation as we walked into the library.
"Believe me, they won't last long." I replied as we settled into a table to do our homework. "Cringey couples seem to be the latest trend with the Weasleys."
Hermione laughed at this, swatting my arm. "Oh, come on, Ginny and Dean aren't that bad!"
"No, I guess they're not. Dean is a sweet guy, but I don't see him and Ginny lasting." I said, looking up as I heard someone call my name. Blaise approached our table, flashing me a smile and giving Hermione a polite nod.
"Mind if I join you?" He asked, much to my surprise. Although Blaise didn't react towards Hermione the way the others did, he also didn't make it a point to spend time with me when she was around. I looked at Hermione, not wanting to say yes if she wasn't comfortable with it.
"Sure." She said with a small smile. "Us smart kids need to stick together."
I laughed at this and Blaise chuckled slightly, looking at what books we had out before pulling his copies out as well.
The three of us actually studied relatively well together for a couple of hours, and I really enjoyed it. Never did I think I'd be sitting at the same table with my two best friends in such a casual manner. When I made a stupid mistake both Hermione and Blaise busted out laughing, sharing jokes about where my brain was at. Despite the teasing, all I could do was smile and shake my head.
"I'm going to head to dinner. See you there?" He asked me. I gave him a nod and he gave us both a quick goodbye before leaving us.
"See, he's not so bad." I said to Hermione.
"No, he's not. You and him appear to be the exceptions to the Slytherin stereotype." Hermione agreed. "He fancies you though. You know that right?"
"Blaise?" I scoffed, "No, it's not like that."
"Maybe not for you, but I don't know about for him. This isn't the first time I've noticed it. It's the way he looks at you and smiles to himself when you speak."
I furrowed my eyebrows, shaking my head slightly. "I hope not. I just, I don't see him that way and I'd hate to have to let him down."
"Well," Hermione said, beginning to pack up her things, "maybe you should think about if you could see him that way. He definitely would not be the worst match for you."
I rolled my eyes and packed my things up as well. As we headed to the Great Hall for dinner, I couldn't help but think about what Hermione had said. Blaise never had been one to be a big flirt around girls, but he also didn't ever flirt with me.

Later that night I was on my hands and knees in the Room of Requirement with Draco pounding into me from behind. He wrapped my ponytail around his fist, yanking my head back until I was forced up onto just my knees. I felt his warm breath against my ear, making my eyelids flutter.
"Who do you let fuck you like this?" He growled in my ear.
"Only you." I breathed out, my eyes rolling back as his arm snaked around my front, his finger rubbing my clit.
"Not your little friend Blaise?" He grunted in my ear, making my eyes snap open. Damn what was with everyone bringing up Blaise today? Involuntarily I felt myself clench around Draco's dick, causing him to growl lowly. "Hm?"
