Michelangelo's POV

It's hard to stop thinking about these idiotic raccoons and their games, the ones at Woodward. Lance and Laura have concerned my family and my wife, too. Speaking of, my girl's been really quiet lately... I hope she's still adjusting to this environment change. I know it isn't easy to take in.

Now that we've moved into a city full of people--mutants, it feels a little safer. It's great being able to work around my home, though. Raph enjoys my help in the armory, sometimes I help Clem and Zayn cook in the kitchen, and Ranger prepares deer meat with me. I'd say this is a civilization, which it is since we have rules, and work together to defend ourselves, and... it's something I am proud to be part of.

I noticed Leonardo is learning more about himself regarding being a leader and a father. Jax loves him so much and it's amazing to see Master Splinter's fatherly love shine through my big brother.

Raph is also a great father. Harlow is going to be a strong fighter one day. She reminds me of her Dad in so many ways. Harlow may be young but she'll be stubborn when she wants to be and is curious about things that don't concern her.

I received news recently that Amber and Regan have left without really telling any of us. There is no trace of their whereabouts, none of their belongings are here and it kinda hurts. Regan has been with us since the prison a while back-- now she's gone. Amber, oh, boy, that shifter was always a mystery. She had her moments.

We're all adjusting to their absence and we hope that they are safe somewhere together or apart.

Recently, I met a new friend named Archi Garner-- a human. He's got that golden blonde hair the girls dig, a nice face, light eyes, and honestly... bro could pull off being a Hemsworth brother. He lives in Airway Heights at the airport with Shard, the mutant coyote. Archi is a perimeter guard there, making sure infected or intruders aren't getting in.

From my understanding of him, he is selfless and puts others before himself. He wants people to eat before him, and Archi is an excellent sniper. His surviving skills could use some tweaking, but he got this far! I'm happy to say that he has become a great friend for us all and is a great example.

Narrator's POV

Later in the day, Osa found herself exhausted from being on her feet for a few hours and decided to lie down in her bedroom. As soon as she entered her room, the silence consumed her and allowed her to take a deep breath and refresh herself. She removed her jacket, pulled her hair out from its tie, and shook it up to release tension from her scalp. The shifter tossed her jacket on the nearest chair, brought her arms up to stretch, and felt that relieving ripple down her spine reach to the tip of her tail.

Osa smirked at the wonderful feel and turned her head to the wall on her left, seeing Polaroid photos of her, Donnie, and her family. There were memories in these photos that made her smile each time, remembering the background of it. She focused on the one that caught her eye the most; a friend captured this for the married couple. Don cradled Osa's growing baby bump from behind her, causing her to laugh in the photo. This always reminded her that she was getting very close to becoming a full-time mother and Don a full-time father.

 She glanced down at the growing baby inside her, knowing in just a few months that she'd have her child in her arms. Osa ran her hands down her belly while walking to the edge of her bed to sit down to relax her back and began to speak to her baby through the womb. "Let's take a rest... again." She says softly, reaching down to her right leg and pressing the prosthetic's release to take the limb off. But when she tried reaching for her left shoe, she was having a hard time with her belly being in the way. "Ugh!" She breathed.
