Donatello and Leonardo were already on their way to Airway Heights, where Shard, the mutant coyote, awaited them. He had a charter plane on standby near the runway. Cora and Uriah had tagged along, as did Raphael and Michelangelo. Once they arrived at the airport, Shard escorted the masked turtles, Uriah and Cora, to the plane that waited for them. Donnie was shocked to speak because his wife was clinging to life. He sat in the captain's seat of the cockpit as he fired up the plane, focusing on trying to get to Seattle without any issues.
Leonardo is in the co-pilot's seat, asking his brother what switches and buttons to press to start the plane. He felt like he was dreaming since he was sitting in the front seat of an aircraft. What a strange honor to do so. "Let's save your wife, Don." He says. "And take back our home from Wicked."
Donnie agreed. The mutant coyote, Shard, wished his friends great luck and that they would hurry back home. As the plane flew, most of the communities heard it from where they were in their homes. Anyone who saw the plane taking off felt like there was a new hope arising for them. Hopefully, the Brothers and their friends will return with help to defeat Alpha and the Wicked.
Duke wheeled his wounded wife, Vincent, to the large window to look out towards the sky, hoping they would see the plane disappear into the clouds. Others who were working outside stopped to listen to the revving engine, glancing up to see a successful take-off. It had been a long time since they had heard or seen a plane in action. "They'll be back, babe," Duke told her, gazing at the massive piece of transportation through the glass.
"I know," Vv said as she grabbed Duke's hand. She was still sore from wounds she had endured from the Wicked Mutants. Thankfully, she's awake and alert. She turned and looked up at her husband. "How's Osa today?"
"Tom says she's still out." He said , rolling her out of the airport. "Hopefully, there's medicine in Seattle."
"Is there any chance she could wake up without the medicine?" Vv asked as she watched where Duke was rolling her.
"With a stillborn in her... no, but, you never know. Tom did all he could to help her." Duke replied. He rolled Vv out into the parking lot, where they walked by many members of the airport community. There, Vasari waited for them in the driver's seat of a vehicle.
"I saw the plane take off. Weird..." He commented, watching Duke help Vv into the car
Vv nodded, sighing as she finally sat down in the back seat. "Yeah. I never thought I would see a plane in the air again." She felt a little sug on her mouth-- a small smirk.
"Planes are loud," Vasari said, starting up the car and pulling it out of the parking lot.As Duke stared out the window, he tried to see if he could see the plane anymore. It's gone. In about 40 minutes, his friends will arrive in Seattle. He thought it was lucky of them to be traveling, but this isn't for pleasure purposes.
Vv glanced at her husband. "If they're not back in a week, a search party should go look for them." She saw Duke turn with a look of 'absolutely not' in his eyes. "Don't worry. I don't mean me."
"They'll be okay," Duke assured her. "Leo said they won't be there more than 3 days."
"Yeah. But what if they're not back by then?" Vv asked quietly.
"Like you said... We'll send a search party." He smiled at her.

On the plane, while Donnie and Leo steered it steadily, the taller turtle was daydreaming about his wife. He remembers the great times they shared together, the smiles and laughter, too. He hated knowing that he was all the way up in the sky, and she was on the ground, nearly dying in a bed.
