Mᴜᴛᴀɴᴛ Aᴘᴏᴄᴀʟʏᴘsᴇ 6: Tʜᴇ Vᴀʟʟᴇʏ

25 || 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒

During the next few weeks, things were just extremely erratic and hectic when it came to the missing supplies. Anybody that had been assigned to the communities as investigators were exhausted and they were becoming irritated the more time went on. Ever since Laura and Lance were discovered to be traitors of Spokane, no others like them have appeared to the surface. There have been questioning sessions almost every single week and according to most of the leaders, there are no more people that are associated with the Wicked group.

Four months ago, Lance and Laura were caught for their crimes and are serving their time in custody. They're miserable, and unsure how to feel at this point. To this day, they are asked many questions and refuse to speak any more about Wicked. Whoever this group is, they are lingering like sharks in the deep zone of the ocean, waiting to strike the weak fish.

Cora and Azi thought they caught a new pair of traitors, but it turns out they were just a few kids messing around, pretending to be Wicked.

Sammy, Uma, Honey, Gracie, Raven, and Celeste did what they could to find some suspicious people as well, but they found nothing.

Kharoma and Raphael stalked Nixon for a good while, but then, it all went silent. It was like Nixon knew he was eavesdropped on that day and placed a zipper on his lips. The black horse and red makes turtle was bummed out about this outcome. Kitty, Raph's wife knew that it meant a lot to Raph and Khar that they ease down on Nixon, but if there are no recent updates on this kid, then it is best to leave it alone.

Leonardo, Uma, and Michelangelo went out a few times to other communities to discover if there were any suspicions, and of course, no answers were found. Shado, Mikey's wife did what she could to encourage her husband, telling him that whatever happens, she will be there to support him and his brothers and friends in finding these possible Wicked members. 

If Laura and Lance were just two of the traitors in the city, then there must be more, right? Strangely, it is as if the possible traitors in the city have gone silent because these two raccoons have blown their cover. It's hard to say how anyone feels now... when anybody walks through the hallways and makes eye contact with their fellow community members, they have no idea if they are truly friends or foes. 

Clementine, who is pregnant with her first child attempted to question Lance and Laura at Woodward, and all they did was threaten her with harsh words and empty promises. Thankfully, Donnie, Raph, and Zayn were there to ensure her safety. 

Everyone did their part in keeping this city and its people safe, but since there is nothing left to do other than do supply runs, protect communities, and kill infected, it's best to leave the Wicked group alone.

In the medical building on Anzen's property, Lin is giving the women their weekly checkups for their unborn babies and so far, Clementine is doing fantastic. Other new mothers were in the green zone and others were approaching the yellow zone for lack of nutrition. Thankfully, they got the nutrients they needed to keep their babies fed in the womb.

There were only a few check-ups in the morning because Line had other things to do besides being just a doctor. She mostly had time to check on her patients in the evening, when her free time was wide open.

In the waiting room, Osa leaned back in her chair, her hands sitting on her growing belly as she slumped in her seat. As she sat in the waiting room, her best friend was sitting next to her, happy to be part of this milestone. "You excited?" Vincent asked her, holding her own child, Bethany in her arms. Vincent's daughter is growing so fast, a little too fast... She is beginning to look more and more like Duke each day and she keeps Vv on her toes all of the time.
