Kharoma

Running through the thick blankets of snow from Sacred Heart Hospital, a black mare cantered frantically to get back home to Anzen. Once she saw the walls of the Anzen community, she neighed loudly, alerting the guards to open the gates for her. "It's me, Kharoma!" She snorted, running through the open gates. "We have to go back!"

"Whoa, hold on!" One of the guards stopped her, causing Khar to skid along the icy ground. "Go back where?"

"Sacred Heart Hospital!" She cried out. "Osa was with me! We got ambushed and they took her!"

"Notify Leo right away!" The guard demanded another. He calmed Kharoma the best he could while the message was being delivered.

Urgently walking through the snow, Sammy, Uma, and Duke spoke to one another about how they don't have a plan currently. Honestly, they felt defeated already and haven't even run into Wicked themselves yet. "Guys, I feel like we are gonna get ambushed in a few minutes!" Duke exclaimed.

"Dude, we are going to become victims of Wicked if you don't move faster!" Sammy barked at him.

"Celeste and Honey--" Uma spoke aloud, bundling up her head in a beanie. "They must be so worried and scared right now."

"If Honey is awake," Sammy mumbled to Duke and Uma. "That gunshot nearly killed her."

"We need to find them soon," Duke said. "Vincent is out there."

"Yeah, and Leo informed us that she's pregnant, too." Uma said. "Not to be rude, Duke, but it's not the brightest idea..."

"We didn't know she'd end up pregnant!" Duke defends himself, stopping in his tracks and taking in a deep breath. He was so afraid, so desperate to find his wife and friends. "We didn't want her to be yet..."

Uma instantly held her tongue once she realized the hurt she caused him for a moment. "Sorry, Duke... I did not want for that to come off the way it did to you."

"It's fine," He breathed out lightly. "I just wanted our lives to be settled a little more before we tried for another baby." Duke held out his hand, looking at the missing pinky he had sustained a while back. He rubbed the scar tissues, staring at it and suddenly remembering Vv's missing hand. Duke has no idea what kind of pain and suffering Vv could be enduring right now. He wants her home.

"We'll get her home, Duke." Setting a hand on his shoulder, Sammy did her best to comfort him. "Everyone."

"I sure hope so..." He lightly spoke, continuing his walk to Sacred Heart Hospital. Right behind him and on their guard, Uma and Sammy held their weapons, ready to defend each other and Duke.

Cora stood in the weight room, arms crossed, her eyes narrowed, and her eyebrows furrowed at Uriah. She wasn't afraid of him, for she knew of his abilities and how they work. From what she got from this kid, she and the enemy are somewhat the same regarding their powers. Maybe it's why she hasn't killed him yet... Or that could be another reason. "Just come clean. You don't need to be afraid of your leader anymore." 

"It's not that easy..." Uriah mumbled, glancing at Leo and Donnie with Cora standing between them. He is still restrained in this chair, unable to move, forced to see these mutants he is unfamiliar with. She scoffed and looked over at her friend, Leonardo. Uriah noticed something about Cora, something he hadn't seen in her before since he met her yesterday. She's being nicer than anyone he has ever met. His own people treated him like dog sh*t on the bottom of a shoe. Of course, Cora is being cautious and doing her best to get him talking, but she hardly touches him with pure and truthful anger. "Why are you not punishing me? Torturing me or trying to fight me?" He asked. "I'm the enemy. I am part of Wicked."
