Being here in an entirely different city from Spokane is so surreal. It's bigger, taller buildings, lots of ocean water, and the community was the city itself. It reminded Leonardo a lot of EdgePort before it burned down and was swarmed by the infected.
Squire told his loyal Titans to stand down and respect the guests who had an association with his daughter and son. He also wanted to know how they were doing. He guided his six visitors through the airport, where dozens of people of different species— humans and animals—were. Or a mixture of both.
"This is incredible," Mikey commented, noticing the airport is lit up and functioning like it did a few years ago.
Squire smirked at the comment. "Took a lot of work, but it's always running. All thanks to our people."
Donnie was amazed, just as astonished as his brothers and two friends. He saw so many different mutants— almost alien-like. Every once in a while, he'd see a few humans working at counters or human children running with other mutants. There were soldiers dressed in black attire with simple blades at their belts and large builds. They walked in pairs or groups.
Each member of the Titans viewed the six visitors walking through the airport. They'd whisper or speak aloud of what they thought of the newcomers, or simply walk away and continue their daily lives in Seattle.
"This is an excellent setup," Donnie said, walking out of the airport with Squire, his brothers, Cora, and Uriah. Just outside, there was a bus ready to be used to go further into the city.
"We'll take a ride into the city," Squire says, the doors shutting behind him, and seeing his passengers either standing or sitting. "So," He says as the driver starts the engine and drives from the airport. "How do you know my daughter? And my son, Cormac?" He looked at the mutants.
"Uh..." Leonardo mumbled, glancing at Donnie. "New York. We found Osa nearly dead outside in an alley. We saved her and... well, the rest is history."
Squire understood with a nod. "And you're her husband?" He pointed to Don.
"Yes, sir." Donnie replied to him. "She's my wife."
"You treat her well? She stubborn as hell?" Squire asked, realizing he made himself chuckle as well as Don's brothers.
"I do, sir." Don smiled. "And she can be very stubborn."
"Very good, very good..." He glances over his shoulder and sees the ride to the city is getting shorter. He sees more water, more buildings, fewer people, and then sees his destination.
The Space Needle. One of Seattle's most famous landmarks.
Squire chooses to live somewhere high. He's a Flight Shifter — he enjoys the heights, he can see far and keep watch over his people, and the view is always beautiful. The ocean's water always glistened, and every once in a while, Squire could see a pod of orca whales breaching near the docks.
They entered the north side of the tower, and Squire guided them to one of the three elevators. Surprisingly, they were operating great. It took about forty seconds to reach the very top and see the greatest view the Brothers have ever seen. Cora and Uriah were shocked to see how shiny and mysterious this city was. They could see below that a ton of Titans kept the city at its best.
Squire brought them to the observation deck when the elevator reached the top. There, Squire had his bed, a desk, a table with his meals of choice, and an entire living area he created for himself. "Welcome to my room." He opened his wings widely, giving them a stretch.
"You've got an amazing view." Leonardo commented with a grin.
"And it never gets old," Squire replied, walking up to the glass with his hands on his hips. Then, he glances at the four brothers and their two friends. "So... you guys are here because of a group called Wicked?"
