Since arriving in Spokane, Donnie and Osa realized they could take this time to have some of their own alone time as a couple. It's still the afternoon and the sun is still out, but soon will be going over the horizon for the next eight to twelve hours. The couple is happy to be walking out of the community with Leo's permission, walking with their weapons on their hips.

Osa thought of this as a perfect time to reconnect with Donnie now that he is right here in the flesh with her. Some time outside the community would refresh them-just the two against the world. A few hours passed by and the sun will be going down soon and this meant that it was time to find some shelter for the night.

The mutant turtle, significantly black and purple, walks around the neighborhood and finds a dirty white truck with hardly any gas in it. After taking a peek inside, he sees it looks pretty clear. "This will have to do, for now, Osa. Hop in. I'll get it warmed up."

Osa smiles and nods in approval of his gesture. She opens the heavy truck door and grabs the handle to climb into the tall vehicle. "Cozy." She says.

Donatello opened the door and flipped the sun blocker open to find the keys. Before he proceeds with what he was doing, Don leans over and kisses Osa's cheek simultaneously. She adores every affectionate gesture he gives her.

His physical appearance almost touches the top of the truck and only has enough room for his shell. Donnie moves the seat back in both ways to sit appropriately in the vehicle and inserts the keys into the ignition and tries to start. "Ah, come on..." Don attempts once more, and soon the weakened truck breathes, coming to life like an ancient dragon waking up after a 1,000-year slumber.

Osa felt safe in this little piece of transportation. It was a part of humanity that was taken away from her and many others years ago. These engineered machines were meant to support people's lifestyles and now they are seen as a giant golden nugget.

The truck starts to warm up, and the air becomes cleaner than the original sedentary dusty smell. The windshields defrost, the view ahead looks clear, and Donnie can't take his eyes off the broken and earth-taken road.

If he can recall, the last time he drove any vehicle and felt safe was when he was in New York with his brothers. He takes a deep breath and moved the gear shift into D for drive. Once he stepped on the gas, the couple is off-headed to a place where they could be together.

Secretly, Donnie wanted to give Osa a small honeymoon of their own because he had just gotten married to her. He felt it would be appropriate for them to find a place and spend some time together. It's perfect for him and hopes Osa approves.

During their short drive around the large city, Osa watches out the window, seeing neighborhoods and different houses. She hopes that she and Donnie can find one for the night-- The cleanest one wins. She even got to see the different styles of houses with wood, chain, or picket fences and guessed what each one looks like inside. But most importantly, she kept an eye out for invaders.

The sun is almost set and it was time to choose the best house. Donnie found one that looked very promising on a road called Evergreen. The front yard is nothing but dirt and dead grass, but the structure is painted a light shade of yellow and green with large windows on the top floor of the two-story home. Donnie pulls the white truck into the paved concrete driveway and parks, turns off the engine, and gets out. "Not bad..." He says, looking at the top of the home. Donnie goes to the tailgate of the vehicle, grabs his weapons, and hands Osa her things.
