When Gojo said that she'd wake up to see his morning face everyday, she thought he meant it. But when she braced herself and retched her door open to find no white haired idiot she was confused.

She went on a morning walk through the school grounds and there was still nothing. She skipped breakfast with the others, opting to sit under a cherry blossom tree with a book above her face. Kumori thought she had enough sleep last night but she guessed not. Was she staring at her pitch dark room the entire time?

Sitting under the cherry tree, she intended to read a book on Medieval Curses of Southeast Asia but she found the ambiance of the garden, with the light breeze lightly making the blossoms sway, and the water trickling into the pond as the koi fish swam underneath too alluringly calm. Enough to make her eyelids heavy and droop into slumber.

When she opened her eyes expecting to see Jujutsu Tech's garden again, instead she was met face to face with the oceans of the universe, tropical lush blues, mixed with something else. As if it were a–

Kumori waved her hand flinging the intruder away from her.

"Seriously, dude. You gotta stop doing that," Getou sighed as he walked up to his friend after waving her a good morning.

"I was just gauging if she was actually asleep," Gojo patted the imaginary dirt off his tracksuit.

"The verdict?" Shoko's voice asked.

"The scary lady is very much awake, thank you," Kumori answered for him, marking her book before setting it down. "What are we doing?"

"Waiting for Masamichi-sensei," Getou explained.

"Here? And not in a real training room?" It would be a shame if they wrecked the garden.

All three froze. "Wait a second..." Kumori whispered.

"Fuck...run," Getou ordered. All four students ditched the garden and headed for the training. Kumori didn't exactly know where she was going, more so following the others. Gojo kind of slipped past them with his speed and all so it was just her, Shoko, and Getou.

"You're late," the voice of their sensei said. "And you, you're gonna be included with the punishment for not arriving with your teammates." Directing the comment at Gojo.

"Serves him," Shoko cracked a smile for once.

"Run 120 laps. No using any cursed energy by the way," Masamichi-sensei's expression was no less merciless. "Except for you Getou. The principle requested your appearance this morning."

The four went on their laps. Just because her sensei specifically told them not to use cursed energy didn't mean she was gonna complete all 120 out of sheer hard work. Kumori placed her concentration into the soles of her boots making herself hover above the ground just a bit, enough to eliminate things that could slow her down, like friction. She was practically just kicking her feet and arms at this point to make it look like she was running. Why was running so tiring? You have to carry your weight for a certain amount of time. With this she was basically weightless. She couldn't do anymore in fear of getting caught.

When she glanced at her teammates to see how they were doing she almost smirked. Shoko, she learned last night didn't possess much offensive skills, but was an expert at Reverse Healing Curse Technique, so technically her stamina wasn't running out.

Gojo, though not having expendable energy like Shoko, was still fast in his own right, if he knew sensei wasn't looking he'd quickly finish a few laps before going back to normal.

Finally when they were finished, and sitting on the ground trying to catch their breaths. Even with the use of cursed energy it still took their stamina.
