TW! A bit of self harm, but it's not from depression or anything. And she can heal herself anyways but if that's disturbing then please don't read. Lemme tell you though, there's a pretty steamy bottom, but it ain't a lemon. Also a bit of a comfort oneshot at the same time, I swear I'm juggling way too much but enjoy.

Kuroi's kidnappers called them around 11 o'clock to meet. Kumori was not happy to be shaken from her nap but left to rescue the caretaker nonetheless.

"Riko-san stay close and no matter what Misato-san's condition is, you don't run, ok?" Kumori reminded before they stepped out the car. Riko nodded her head in understanding. Kumori gently grabbed the girl's wrist and held it close to her face before letting go. What she left was a 1 inch black line that wrapped around the girl's wrist.

"What'd you do?" Riko held her wrist to her face, inspecting it. She pinched her skin but it didn't leave a residue.

"I shouldn't have to tell you if you behave,"was Kumori's only response before meeting her friends outside of the car.

The kidnappers were about 20 meters from them, and had Kuroi gagged and hands tied in between them. Just like Kumori assumed, Riko immediately ran to her beloved caretaker right away. But that just pulled Kumori's arm a bit, before she twisted her shadow wire, forcing the girl to a halt.

"Wha–" Riko tried twisting the black band off her, to no avail.

Kumori rolled her eyes. "I told you not to run didn't I?" Kumori bent down to Riko's height. "It's a shadow wire. Thin enough for only my eyes to see. Go far enough and I'll just pull you back." Kumori lifted her own wrist to showcase her own black band. "Besides, Misato-san is fine. I expected her to be in worse condition."

She let Gojo and Getou take this one, easily apprehending the kidnappers and allowing Kuroi to run to safety.

"Riko-sama!" Kuori sobbed into the girl's hair when she got back to them.

"You're alright!" Riko also cried into Kuori's shoulder as she wrapped her arms around Kuroi's neck. Kumori dispelled the shadow wire, allowing the two their moment.

"Don't kill right away. I wanna ask them some questions," Kumori cracked her knuckles as she neared the boys.

"Be my guest," Gojo shrugged. Getou had the two trapped in the mouths of two cursed spirits. Kumori stepped forward and leaned down to be at eye level with the crooks.

"My cursed technique can't go through something as thick as a wall. But human skin is made up of semi-permeable cells so the same can't be said," Kumori explained her technique. Then she raised her right hand and formed one of her shadow needles.

She moved her hand forward and tapped the needle on the head of one of the kidnappers. "See? Pretty solid right?" She asked as they both flinched. Her needles were indeed 3.5 inches long. "Now, I've been doing this for awhile so if you think I don't know anatomy, then you're wrong. It won't take me too much effort to find your veins. Understand?"

Both kidnappers nodded their heads quickly. "Good. Now because of the composition of arteries and veins, one is bigger in diameter, and one is smaller but with thicker walls. The one with the thicker walls in turn, are pumped at a higher blood pressure, thus if pierced, bleeds a lot more than the other. Which one do you think is which?" Kumori asked sweetly.

"I-I..." Kumori shot a needle at the feet  of the kidnappers making them yelp. "I don't know!"

"Man you two are dumb," Kumori sighed. "Which one does the doctor poke her little needle into when we get shots? The veins because they're thinner and easy to puncture. If an artery isn't treated correctly then that person can bleed out." She started unbuttoning her uniform jacket, including the undershirt and pulled just her left arm out.
