So I come up with ideas by going about my day, and I had this thought in my head last week but I wrote this angsty arc like two days ago and forgot to implement it so I'm sorry T-T. It'll feel kinda rushed but should run smoothly still.

Megumi glanced out of the window of the classroom of where he had held his cousin hours ago. He had stood at the spot as he saw Kumori's figure depart the school to her home. He hoped she was already fast asleep in one of the dormitories now.

He turned away to look at the charred classroom. Her flames had ate away at the furniture and walls. Gojo wouldn't be teaching any of them in here any longer. When she left the room, the flames had dissipated enough for him to shine a flashlight on them for a few hours to make them really go away.

It was night time now and what he should be doing was getting ready for bed. But there was still a part of Megumi that was still haunted by Kumori's looks. He wanted desperately to hunt down those bastards that did that to her. But he was only a grade 2, and those guys had the power to catch her of all people off guard.

Yeah but you're being assessed for grade 1 at the moment. And she was having an off day. Everyone has off days. Megumi grumbled while ruffling his hair. There were so many variables to consider, both pros and cons. But Megumi also trusted his nee-san's wishes the most.

He stopped as he rested his hand on the cool metal of the door. He slowly turned the knob and pushed the door open. There he saw the man he was looking for, his back hunched over a lawn chair, his white hair, now more of a heather purple because of the lighting, was missing it's black band signifying he had taken off his blindfold.

The man whirled around, his eyes widening for a second before becoming half-lidded again. "Ah Megumi, what are you doing up here?" Megumi glared at the semblance of the smile his sensei was trying to pull off, but if he listened closely, he could hear the hoarseness of his voice.

"Don't bullshit me," Megumi rolled his eyes as he placed his hands in his pockets and stalked over to the still seated man, choosing to stand a few feet away from him. "If it were Kugisaki or Itadori maybe, though the two are still pretty emotionally intelligent."

"I take it you know? Since you're up here," Gojo turned back to view his city, the window ruffling his hair a bit.

"Yeah," Megumi said under his breath. As much as Megumi acted like he detested the relationship his sensei and his cousin had, it was more like he was protective of Kumori, he didn't actually hate Gojo. The white haired would always be an idiot in his eyes, but Gojo was a man born to be respected in some way.

"Are you here to kill me then?" Gojo said, his voice quiet.

"Should I?" was Megumi's answer to his question.

"I'm not gonna say no, I just thought you would."

"I don't want to kill you for calling off the engagement," Megumi said. Gojo glanced at the boy peculiarly.

"Then what do you have to be mad at me for?"

"For being an assehole," Megumi was fidgeting with his hands, creating shapes that could become a shadow under the right light. Then he glanced at his sensei. "But we already knew that."

"Yeah we kinda did," Gojo chuckled lowly. "I really loved her you know. I guess not so much for her."

Megumi dragged an exasperated hand across his face. "Great. Now you're an idiotic assehole. Pick a struggle sensei."

"What do you mean?"

"If you loved her so much why'd you break it off?"

"You think I broke the engagement off too fast?"
