Welcome to Arc 3. This is Episode 0 in the manga, mostly about Okkotsu Yuuta. Two year timeskip from the last chapter, Kumori and Gojo are now 19-20. They're both teachers, welcoming in the new students.

"So you ran away huh?" Kumori said to the girl standing in front of her. Maki had her arms crossed, her cheeks puffed into a pout. "C'mon just tell me, or I'll kick you out right now."

"Yes! Fine. I may have left the family for a bit," Maki sighed. Kumori almost smiled.

"I would've liked to see the look on Naobito oji-san's face," Kumori held a hand to her face concealing a forming smirk.

Maki kicked a rock out of her way. "He was too drunk to care."

"Sounds like him," Kumori sighed. "Why not Kyoto?"

"Zenin has too much influence there. I'd have no progress going to a place like that," Maki huffed. She turned to look at her older cousin. "Why don't you take over the family nee-san? You have the power to. Even if our entire clan took you on you'd win."

"Being the head of a clan, a captain of a team, the leader of an organization isn't about having power. It's about commanding the respect of everyone, and caring. Two things that I lack and don't really care for. And you said you were gonna be head right?" Kumori raised and eyebrow.

"Well yeah...but I wouldn't mind having you as head either," Maki said. Kumori ruffled the younger girl's hair.

"Find a plan you're happy with and stick to it. Besides, I'm not gonna be a Zenin for much longer. My wedding's less than a decade away. Kinda hard to form a coup don't you think?" Kumori smirked. "Become the head Maki-chan. Make the women of the Zenin clan, and yourself proud."

"About your fiancé, is that him over there?" Maki was pointing the direction to Kumori's right. A tall man with a black uniform and bandages over his eyes was sauntering in their direction.

"I'm afraid so. And say boyfriend in public. It's embarrassing reminding me that I'm getting married," Kumori sighed. "I'll talk to you later, Maki-chan." She waved her cousin goodbye before greeting her boyfriend.

"Where are you off to?" She asked him as he smiled at her.

"Higher-ups meeting. Said some kid walked in with a special grade curse, and is now a vessel. You know what that means."

"Immediate execution. No trial," Kumori answered. "But we're special grades ourselves."

"Yeah, so I guess the kid does get a trial," Gojo grinned.

"Yeah. And he's got the shittiest lawyer to back him up," Kumori deadpanned. "Welp, I should go welcome the new students–"

"Actually...could you come...?" He asked hesitantly. Kumori raised an eyebrow. "They like you better than me, you'll probably be able to convince them better."

"That's because I didn't act like a child the first few meetings I had with them," Kumori said. "And I also don't outright threaten them."

"But you do. Just more subtly. Besides, they'll be feeling the overwhelming power of both of us in the room if both of us are there," Gojo pointed out. "C'mon this isn't for me, this is for the kid."

Kumori sighed. "Fine. But if he turns out annoying that's your fault."

"So he asked for us to kill him huh?" Kumori reiterated the new found information. "How selfless."

"Precisely, his death will be a noble and honorable one. Now can we end this meeting–"

"I didn't say I agreed with you," Kumori's tone was harsh, but her words weren't anything to get worked up over. Perhaps that was the most infuriating part of her personality. They couldn't technically get mad at her.
