I think this will be the end of Arc 1. I'm probably gonna go right into Gojo's Past arc right after this. The rest of the story is gonna be a bunch of spoilers but I will try to input as many scenes that are off screen in the manga as I can. It gets annoying rereading the manga in a fanfic but there's only so much I can do.

They said it was miracle she had even survived that ordeal.

Then why does everything hurt?

They said she would be alive to talk and walk like she had before. They said she would be able to listen to the birds chirp and waves crash against the rocks.

Then why is there a ringing in my ear?

They said everything would go back to normal. That she'd be as normal as before. Except for some things.

There would be scars sustained from the continual electrocution.

Her old scars had reopened, they couldn't do anything about them either. But that wasn't the worst part in her opinion.

They said she'd be able to talk, to walk like she did before. To listen to the birds and the waves crash against the rocks. But they said she may never be able see those things ever again.

Kumori had woken up to darkness. She could indeed hear things, but she wished not to focus on them. Her head still hurt a bit but it was workable. When she touched her face she felt a cloth wrap around her head.

"We had the monks come and check on you, but they're non-shamans, there's only so much they can do," Masamichi explained. Kumori made no sound or action of acknowledgement of hearing her teacher. "They asked that you keep the blindfold on as to not cause further nerve damage to your cornea from the bright lights."

"Sensei." He was surprised to hear her voice.

"I'm here."

"Will I ever be able to see again?" Her question was blunt. And that was the type of answer she wanted back.

"I don't know," and he left her to collect her thoughts.

That was a week ago. She hadn't spoken since. She'd gotten visitors though. Getou was the first to come. He told her what happened, how he took Shoko away as to not get caught in Gojo's domain expansion. With Gojo touching her in the domain expansion, she'd be safe. He told her of how Shoko hadn't woken up from her hit, and if she had she would've healed her already.

Then it was her family who came in next. Well, mostly Maki. She asked Kumori how she was doing and got no response. She told Kumori how her parents were worried about the joint marriage between the Gojo and Zenin clan since Kumori was now injured.

Speaking of her parents, they came in once if Kumori remembered correctly. Her father was silent the entire time but Kumori could feel his cursed energy. Her mother was sobbing on Kumori's lap, for the agony her daughter had went through or the loss of their hard work she didn't know.

After they all left it was more quiet. And though, Kumori liked the feeling of not having people bombard her, it still got quite boring. She couldn't read so that wasn't an option. So one day she got up from her hospital bed without permission. She placed her hands in front of her to catch the walls. It took her about twenty minutes to find the doorknob.

When she walked into the hallway, she felt the walls of Jujutsu Tech. Memorizing each crevice for further use. She remembered where the musical part of the school was. It wasn't used much, it attracted a bit of attention if you play the wrong instrument with the right song.

It took her another thirty minutes to find the music room.

She knew it was empty the second she entered it. She didn't bother finding the light switch since she wouldn't be able to see. She had been in this room many times before, always by herself to recollect her thoughts. She found it peaceful.
