Gets a bit steamy at the end >.< Not full on lemon, and doesn't even count as a lime, but I'm so embarrassed. How tf do authors do this?!
It was harder for Kumori to hate this holiday compared to her friends when she was a teen. The holiday usually heightened the fact that a lot of them were lonely and didn't have something better to do.
She was fortunate enough to have someone on the day. Thought she didn't make it that much of a day for fun.
Kumori was a worker, do you really think she would've spent the day in just for love? She made sure to wake up early, lest she wanted to be held down by her fiancé.
This was no easy feat since he always found a way to entangle their limbs during the night, and he was a light sleeper. She'd barely have enough time before he started to stir, so no breakfast. She even resorted to changing in the shadow world, which wasn't safe.
When she popped out of the shadow, she had landed in Akiba, earning her a few surprised stares as to why there was suddenly a woman with a katana standing there.
Kumori gave a sigh when she finally arrived safely at the school, in one piece too. She glanced at her phone. She had at least a half an hour before classes start. She made a beeline straight to the principal's office to check if she had any missions to tend to.
"You...wiped my schedule?" Kumori glanced at Yaga.
He only shrugged. "It's a holiday. You should take a break." He tilted his head a bit. "I'm surprised that Satoru isn't clung to at least a leg."
Kumori opened her mouth to respond before closing it, staring hard at her old sensei. It took him awhile before it finally clicked.
"You know, I kinda expect teasing behavior from him but from you? You're another level of cruel, Kumori," He sighed. He opened a drawer and took some papers out, uncapping a pen. "You want me to fill his schedule don't you?"
Kumori gave a small sly smile to her teacher. "Arigatou gozaimasu."

She was walking through the busy streets of Tokyo doing errands before the school started. The giddy smell of couples passed by her as she bowed her head to not make eye contact with anyone.
Kumori had opted to change out of her uniform, leaving behind her katana at the school. There appeared to be more people walking the streets today, so the added weight would be unnecessary.
As she walked down the Avenue, about to trek the steps of the school, she ran into the one person she wanted to avoid.
Kumori clicked her tongue as she grabbed the rim of her cap to lower over her more, covering her eyes as she tried to walk past that person.
Gojo was being stopped by several girls, each holding out a heart shaped box as he laughed at whatever they had just said. She took back what she said about it being a day where she was unhappy with.
If only she could slip by undetected, if lowering her cursed energy emissions. But of course it was futile.
"Really ladies I'm flattered, but I–" he stopped himself as he caught sight of her, and quickly grabbed Kumori's passing arm. "-have somewhere to be."
Kumori slightly smirked as his tone and the grip on her arm. He sounded rather desperate to get away from the attention, albeit politely.
She let go of her grip on the cap as she looked up at him. It appeared he hadn't signed in at the school yet since he only wore his sunglasses with his school uniform. She glanced at his artic blue eyes once before letting her eyes travel to the not one, not two, but six heart-shaped boxes. And the girls still held theirs so she knew it wasn't from them. Then she glanced up back to his eyes.
