Aging Utahime and maybe Mei Mei down for the plot. Dunno it'll be easier to input people we already know.
Kumori placed her hands utop the head of the cursed corpse for what seemed like the 11nth time that day. She slowly took an intake of air before breathing out a sigh. She was putting a continual flow of cursed energy into the doll, so it wouldn't wake up.
It seemed like an easy, no? As long as she didn't have any distractions she'd be fine. As a child she was taught breathing routines with monks who had turned down hundreds of students. She had been taught to control her emotions from the greatest actors in all of Japan. This should be an easy feat.
"Heyyy Zenin-chan! Look over here!" Gojo placed a poorly drawn picture of a dick in front of her. Her immediate reaction was to flare up in irritation, putting too much cursed energy into the doll, prompting it to wake up and hit her. It only hit her shadow of course, but it still annoyed her to no end.
She said it would be an easy feat if she didn't have any distractions. "Nice one, Gojo," Getou complimented, even giving his best friend a high-five. This was a new training regime Masamichi-sensei had given them. While her classmates were waiting for their turn at the doll, the others had to find a way to spark her emotions.
It was mostly designated for her. She was a newly ordained special grade sorceress with the realization of the amount of cursed energy she possessed. They had done this regime many times before, but with the discovery of her new abilities she had to redo the training. The conclusion was that her control of her cursed energy had all but flung out the window.
"I wonder, can you even do reverse cursed techniques if your cursed energy is so unstable?" Gojo questioned, as if he were looking at a monkey he was experimenting with.
"Come over here and let me hit you and we'll see," Kumori gritted her teeth. She knew it was unreasonable of her to be mad at the boy. It was literally his job to be distracting her, given by there teacher. But she couldn't help but feel frustrated.
Everything that I'm doing is so elementary. I've already learn all of this, it's just so repetition to do it all over again. She knew she had to do this however.
"I think it's time for lunch," Getou said looking at the blaring sun. He was leaning on a staff he had used as a prop to mess with her.
When her friends had packed their things and turned to leave, Kumori didn't follow. "You're not coming Zenin?" Shoko asked.
"You go ahead. I'm gonna finish this or starve," she proclaimed. She was going to get this done if that meant she would go without food. The idea of skipping wasn't too stomach churning to her. It was something her parents did to her if she didn't learn something quick enough anyways, so the idea wasn't anything new.
"That's not very healthy you know..." Shoko reminded. When she didn't get a response she only sighed. "But whatever you say."
It was nice and quiet now. Kumori breathed even breaths. Her back was straight, her position poised, chin levelled. She closed her eyes, allowing her other senses to heighten.
She could smell the water from the nearby pond, the freshly cut pushes from this morning's trim, and the sweet aroma of the cherry blossoms. Her ears could hear the trickling of water as it cascaded down the smooth rocks that had been set there for thousands of years. She felt the breeze as it tickled her cheeks and pushed her bangs. If she opened her mouth she could taste the freshness of the mountain where the college was situated atop.
Kumori was trying clear her head like the Ancient Buddhist monks of Ancient China. She was trying to let go of her worldly troubles and become with her surroundings. But there was something that was keeping her tethered to this earth. The flash of the person who had placed that cursed womb in her curtain.
