"Is sensei asleep?" Kugisaki and the rest of her trio were looming over the still figure of Gojo. To their credit he really did look asleep, his long legs outstretched beneath him, his head leaning back leisurely.

"Sensei can sleep?" Itadori asked with a hand under his chin.

"As much as Satoru acts like he's above this world, his body still needs to reset through sleep. A key component I've trying to drill into him," Kumori rolled her eyes.

"Look he really is awake!" Gojo was staring up at his student with one blindfold flipped up, his mouth curved into a half smirk and half something else she couldn't pinpoint yet.

"Isn't that an expensive chair?" Kugisaki's amber eyes were scanning the chair Gojo was lying on. Of course she'd have an eye for that.

"As much as you need to get some kind of rest, now isn't the time," Kumori sighed as she wacked the back of Gojo's head. She was surprised that he didn't give a retort or a whine back at her, instead silently getting up from his seat, his hands fisted into his pockets. Even if his blindfold was on she had an idea of where his eyes were casted. His head was tilted downwards, his eyes were probably looking at the floor.

She didn't know why but she felt like the scene was perfect. Of course Megumi was the only one not smiling but the view still held a content aura. Itadori and Kugisaki fighting over the stupid chair. Megumi glaring at his teacher.

When the kids left Kumori looked at her lover curiously. "Did something happen?" She asked quietly from behind him. He was staring out the window, watching as the trio left the building.

"No," he said for the first time today. Kumori moved to stand next to him, watching the kids leave. He knew she wasn't satisfied with the answer. But he made up for it by squeezing her hand. She looked at him again, her head tilted. It wasn't often that she couldn't read the people around her. But Gojo always gave her surprises.

"Just remembering a few things," he flashed her a small smile, an action something so unlike someone like Gojo Satoru would do.

"Day off?" Kumori glanced at her friend as he walked up to her. She took a sip of her coffee as she stared into the sunset, the shadows ever changing as her students ran around.

"You could say that," Nanami sighed. He was wrapped in a winter's coat and a scarf, his own cup of coffee in hand.

He stared at the display of the kids, Itadori atop of Gojo's shoulders and Panda attempting to place Inumaki on top of Itadori's shoulders to make a long human chain that stretched vertically. Kugisaki and Maki were on either side of their sensei, spotting the boys so that they wouldn't fall on the sand. Megumi was standing on the side, looking mournfully at the group.

"They look like normal kids right now you know," He said.

"Satoru included?" Kumori raised a brow.

"I'm gonna say yes on this one," Nanami sighed. "He looks better than you at least."

"Hey! Where did my polite kouhai go?" Kumori glared at him. It was only half-hearted since she knew he was right. There were eyebags under her eyes from the recent events. They had found a mole, but they had also found a body.

It had been a day after they had sent the kids to find the mole. She was doing more paperwork with the finding of Mechamaru, which was futile by the way, when she got the signal. She had shadow travelled there to find Gojo standing in the middle of the wreckage.
