It was now the morning of the blood moon and things were already starting to change. There was so much that could be felt that I've never felt before. Things I didn't know that were alive calling to me, it was incredible. I looked to the old one, her all knowing eyes looked out over the land and I wondered what was going through her head.

'You seem troubled.' I pointed out as she looked down at me, her eyes flashing a ruby red.

'Yes, I must come to terms with the greater good of all.' She spoke solemnly.

I didn't understand what she meant by that. Or maybe she meant it in a way that something's would have to be lost in this battle for freedom. Even so it did not settle me to find her so down, the wise one always had a way of peace about her. Now it seemed to leave her entirely.
