So its finally here!!! Mimas voicing what he thought of Elara's reaction to his name... and the marking. Enjoy and comment down below if you want more of these from Mimas... FYI not a chapter.

The female slept in the den after her encounter with the she wolf whom she had viciously killed. It had been many years and I had never seen a female do what she had done. She refused my command and it did not affect her. As a royal that was concerning only a select few could resist a command. Then again the amount of rage she felt blinded everything around her. She was a mystery to me.

Two days have passed and she still sleeps no doubt the effects of my bite taking a toll. I could not stay here. I had to run and find wherever that scent was coming from. It had lingered around coming and going. Before she woke I needed to ensure that it would keep its distance.

Exiting the den I followed the familiar pathway. It's speed was impressive as it's scent lingered on the trees it passed. Like always it ran the same pathway over and over again. It was toying with me. A flash of what looked to be a being stood on two legs ran past. I followed after it sprinting. We ran alongside each other, the shape I was unable to make out. Halting at the wall it continued running vertically and disappearing over its tall mass.

This creature was not a wolf and it certainly did not have the traits of any creatures that I've encountered before. For now it would have to wait. I sensed her waking and I'm sure she would feel out of sorts.

Heading back I heard her clearly she was looking for me and she was afraid. She heard my approach concentrating on my movement. She continued to impress me, just where was she from?

'Your awake.' She relaxed instantly but I still could feel her unease. It was now in view and I would be there soon. The beating of her heartbeat picked up rapidly. 'Do not be afraid I will not hurt you.' Her eyes found me and phased right in front of her, our noses almost touching.

Her small frame falls backwards onto the ground uneasy. My canines come around the scruff of her neck taking her back inside the den curling my body around her shaking form. 'I didn't mean to frighten you.'

'It's okay, I'm sorry for how I acted before I couldn't control myself.'.Finally she responds I was beginning to think she had lost the ability to hear me again.

Licking the top of her head I rested my head on top of hers. My thoughts ventured back to the incident. 'Just try to sleep your body has gone through enough.' But with her fidgeting she was not going to rest anytime soon. 'What is it?'

'Everything is just so loud. I hear everything and smell everything. Something has changed.'

She was right something had changed and it meant that she would have to learn our ways. 'Your beast has taken over, I sense something in you.' I still was not sure she held a power that was unknown to a wolf like her.

'What do you sense?'

'Your beast spoke to me in ways I can not explain. You will learn to control it with time.' A silence fell over us as she thought it over.

'What is your name?' She asked a longing in her eyes.

It was the question I did not want her to ask, but it was bound to happen eventually. 'You can call me Mimas.'

She jumped her feet and I was on alert from her rapid movement. For some reason she triggered the defense in me. Lowering her head instantly.

'I'm sorry for reacting that way but you are Mimas the royal wolf.'

I waited to see if she would say more or cower away. After all that is what most wolves did when they heard my name. My reputation was all they heard before they turned and ran. 'What's in a name? Does that frighten you?'

'No just surprising to know. The stories about you are-.'

'Are just stories.' I cut her off. So she was like the other females wanting to mate for power. That is why the other she wolves who entered here meant their demise. Now I was stuck with her because I had marked her.

'Yes of course. It's just an honor to be here with you.'

So it was admiration instead that she felt, that was I new one.

'What happened with the she wolf and after I blacked out?' She asked and I wondered if she really wanted to know. Also there was the other matter I had to discuss with her.

'Your beast took over and you killed her.'

She lowered her head and I could not tell if she was saddened by her mistakes. I felt no sorrow. Was he angry at me? Her thoughts drifted into the link once more. Her bad habit made it clear to see what she was thinking.

'No I understand why you did it.'

I want to crawl into a hole. How could I forget that he could hear my thoughts. 'Not all your thoughts, just most of them.' I quickly pointed out.

'Why did you not kill me when I disobeyed you before?'

Honestly I still had no clue as to why that was other than the fact she was so enticing. 'Your beast spoke to me in ways I do not understand at all.' The creature was coming back so I walked to the opening keeping my guard up without alerting her. 'What your beast did no wolf has ever done anything like it before. Your beast is incredible. You are the only one to resist Royal Alpha power.'

Still sensing the creature drawing near I filled the time with asking her questions about her family. It seemed to sadded her as she spoke of them and how she did not remember much of anything. After that she still had questions on what she had seen before her black out.

'Before I killed the she wolf you glowed and your eyes changed. I remember bit onto my neck I was sure I was dead but I'm alive, why?'

'I marked you as mine I could not resist.' I guess honesty would be best even though it was part of it. 'That is why you feel different, your body is changing.' The only name that I could give her was one that seemed to scream at me the moment I met her. 'You will now be named Elara because you are mine.'

Our happiness was soon interrupted as the creatures scent became stronger this time closer than it's usual pathing. I sniffed the air and it was headed to the wall again.

'What is that?'

'I don't know but I have smelled it before it's been running through the same area for the past two days.

'Two days, where is it headed?' She asked nervously.

'Somewhere over the wall I have been trying to track it down.' It frustrated me knowing that it was toying with me. It had never come back this close together before. I began to pace outside the den with her eyes still on me. I did not want to frighten her with my frustration at all. Things were running deeper here than I thought. These walls they had put up could contain me which should never be the case for a Royal.

'What kind of creature is it?' Her body shaking with unease.

'It's not human that is for certain but it has some similarities. These humans are messing with things they do not understand.' This would explain how they were able to keep me from knowing down these walls they had built. They would not contain me long; it was only a matter of time before they knew the name Bringer of Death.
