There was darkness all around me, it consumed everything in its path. I did not know where the darkness began and where I started. It felt like electricity running from one end to the other, its constant movement terrifying. Yet it made me feel so alive with unimaginable power, so powerful that I fear it would overtake me. There was nothing but the darkness and electricity. No matter what I tried I was stuck in this state. Why could I not feel anything but electricity, or see anything but darkness?

Was this what death felt like? Nothingness? This state could make anyone go crazy.

All at once the darkness turned into a sea of color bursting and firing everywhere. It was bright, it almost blinded me and the electricity dulling away. Everything became alive instead of the dull darkness. But where was I?

The colors then turned into pretty patterns and shapes, things that I remembered from when I was a girl. Some were unknown shapes that I did not understand but I saw them everywhere around the humans. The electricity came back and it seemed to move fast spreading in every direction with a vengeance. It was a horrible pain that made me howl it would not stop it kept going. A blue light appeared out of the sea of colors and it too was surrounded by the electricity. The blue light seemed to take the shape of a wolf, it was very familiar but I did not know why.

The blue light shinned brighter and the wolf howled making the electricity flow out my body. The wolf disappeared and I was plunged into the darkness roughly. There was nothing again, there was no feeling at all. Could this be my life slipping away from me? Or was I fighting for my life? Nothing made sense and I could not understand why I felt so numb.

Slowly feeling came back, a pain running through my veins so painful. I knew I was laying down but I could not move or open my eyes. I felt weak, unable to control any of my limbs. Did the black wolf not finish me off right? I could only feel pain to what extent of the damage he had done I did not know. From what I could tell another body was wrapped around my own. Despite the events that had happened before I knew I was safe. I was sure that my black wolf had killed me because of my disrespect, yet I was alive. I really should not be alive. I needed to rest and gain back some of my strength and my senses. A tongue licked at the top of my head soothing me into a light sleep.

Awoken by a shiver that went through my body. Opening my eyes I was meant with darkness but I knew it was the den. The Black wolf was nowhere to be found and judging by the scent he had been gone awhile. I was thankful he was not here I did not know what I should feel about what happened. Or even happened after I blacked out. There were so many questions on my mind that I needed answers to. Why did he keep me alive? My beast was out of control and most of what happened came in a blur. From what I could remember what I had done should have been unforgivable. My beast had never taken over before it was powerful and uncontrollable. What would I do if it happened again?

Trying to move any of my limbs was hard to do, because everything felt so odd and heavy. My body felt so different and it tingled everywhere. It felt like I was not in control of my own body anymore. Attempting to stand took too much effort so I gave up lying limp on the cold ground. Hopefully I would gain some of my feeling and movement back.

Not soon after I could hear footsteps and a heartbeat coming near the cave. My ears perked trying to hear every sound I could. I urged myself onto my paws still a little numb and tingly all over. I took small steps towards the opening of the cave gaining back some of my strength. When I got to the opening of the cave there was no one in sight. How? I heard it as if it was right outside. Normally I would not be able to pick up sounds so far away.

Closing my eyes I listened hard trying to pick up distant sounds. My heart beat, the heartbeat of another and footsteps crunching in the grass. I opened my eyes sniffing the air trying to concentrate and pick up anything I could. Then his scent hit me, it was strong he had to be nearby.
