A few days before the blood moon.
~Headmaster~
With no sign of Hegan or Zay my confidence began to fade. I felt time slipping away from me. I had a feeling that soon things would end. The reason I was still unsure of. This body did not feel weak in the slightest but there were certain things I missed and longed for. I would never stop until I got the cure I wanted.
Cancer was the only thing I feared alongside death and now it was losing my humanity which was debatable. The faith I once had dwindled and the hopes of becoming me again gone. The future was now becoming more certain, I would remain a monster.
A knock brought me from my thoughts and judging by rhythm of the heartbeat I knew it was my secretary.
"Come in."
She came inside speaking immediately. "The Yanovich would like to see you now."
I sighed and nodded and she let him walk inside the office as she hastily left closing the door. He seemed the same as usual, probably with the same report he had every day for the few years. His hands began to shake as they always did in my presence. No doubt in fear for his life wondering if today would be his last day on this planet.
"Let me guess the results remain the same."
His frame began to shake as he stood before me. "They are but they are also changing even the dragon essence is acting strangely. I came to tell you that there may be a way to cure you after all."
