Chapter 27 The Changes Within

Chapter 27 The Changes Within

Finally, Mimas had woken up and the last few days had been amazing. Thankfully we were able to untangle ourselves from each other to focus on the task at hand.

'The next full moon, why will our powers be stronger?'

'It is a blood moon it's power is unimaginable, that is why I must teach you to embrace your beast. It is more powerful now that we are mated you have to learn to control and harness that power.' He stood walking outside giving me the command to follow.

A chill air blew the barren trees and the leaves crunched beneath our paws. Soon another snow would fall and I wondered if we would escape in time to beat the harsh winter. Especially for the pups and elder wolves that were too small to withstand the cold. It would be troublesome but something I guess we would have to work out later.

Mimas stood before me ready to teach me to control my beast within. His blue light began to shine around him and he glowed. 'Let your beast come forward then control her.'

Relaxing I let my beast come forward keeping her at bay to control her. Yet, she had other ideas she kept taking over wanting to mate with Mimas. There were no objections from me. I agreed but that would only mean trouble and endless mating. We both knew that we could not give in with such limited time. She was beginning to stir again and I could feel her wanting to come out. He let out a low growl as he sensed her trying to come back out shaking his head.

'Control her and push her back.' He roared in the mind link and I could feel his frustration. His own barriers seemed to be breaking as he fought for control to resist.

It was becoming harder to do when all I wanted was the same thing. To mate. For once me and my beast were in sync. My body could not get enough of him longing for more. To feel his fur rub against mine to enjoy the warmth his body created, to feel good. Judging by his actions he wanted it too. Shaking my head of the thoughts I managed to do what he was teaching me. Barely managing to keep her at bay I pushed her back within pushing the growing lust away. Struggling to communicate with her was like talking to a wall. Still she would not answer me.

'Do you hear her voice within you?' He asked.

'I still cannot hear her. I can only feel her.' He tilted his head before he spoke again. 'Try harder.'

Listening closely, I could hear something faint but she would not come through. There was only silence until Mimas growled low as the experiments could be sensed close to us. They left as soon as they came and he turned his attention back to me. His anger rolling off in waves making me want to cower away. Instead of doing so she came back breaking through taking over and going to him. I had no control. I rubbed myself against Mimas the sensation awaking the fire once again. This time with a strong force.

Mimas began to growl again, closing his eyes as he tried to remain in control. She was trying to tempt him and his beast again like she had done so many times before. The question was would he resist this time? Deep down I wished he wouldn't.

'Stop her, focus on stopping your actions.' He demanded yet I could not stop myself from doing it at all and she still remained silent. I whimpered using all the strength to stop her control. 'Stop your beast or I will.' He informed me.

Now I could sense his beast surfacing calling out to my own, it made my heart beat with fear. What if the Beast took over and I lost Mimas again?

'Stop now or I will lock you away.' Commanding my beast but it only seemed to urge her more to the surface. Which made him lose control before I could try again. His canines came down around my neck forcing my body to the ground. There was no anger within only arousal and my beast loved every moment of it. As did I, but I shoved her back and his canines receded.

Mimas nuzzled my head, his blue shining brighter. As he stepped away, I realized that the light was coming from me. It glowed and flared out but it was not as bold as his it was faint.

'How?'

'You put her in her place and harnessed the power. As long as you have balance you will be able to use it, practice concealing and flaring it out. For the blood moon you have to have more control over it. Otherwise it will rule over you.'

The light went in and out flaring around me and fading back within. I continued for what seemed like hours but he insisted that more practice was necessary. It was taking a lot out of me and eventually he allowed me to rest. We laid on the damp ground enjoying the breeze despite the crisp air.

From where the humans dwelled there was a sudden golden flash of light. The forest life went silent as the light continued to shine. I stood as it grew looking to see where its source was. With all the trees it was hard to tell where it came from other than the fact it was very high up.

Mimas stood next to me looking off into the distance his eyes aglow once again. 'Sirius has returned and now we are ready for the blood moon.'

My heart beat fast as Mimas let out a howl and all the wolves joined in. The blood moon was approaching fast and soon we would not be among these walls. My joy quickly turned to that of lust and I knew that Mimas sensed it as he stopped howling and looked over to me. The heat I felt before was returning yet again and the urge was hard to fight back.

'Does this ever end?' Wanting to know just how long I would have to bear these intense desires. He licked at my neck and I rubbed my head against him feeling somewhat better from his touch. 'It never ends, it just gets easier to control. It's something you'll learn with time.'

Outside of the last few days I began to envy his control over mating. There were times that I thought that he would give in like the other days yet sadly that was not the case. He remained in control while keeping me in check which must have been hard to do. All I wanted was to mate. It constantly ruled my thoughts along with my beast. I just wished he felt the same now so that I could feel the sensations all over again.

Then a command pushed me forward to the den as he nudged me from behind. Looks like I would get my wish after all.
