(Sam's POV)

I ran inside the school, leaving Kaileigh with the rogues. I felt bad, but she told me to get help. I can't believe I froze!

I sprinted down the halls, while mind-linking my dad, telling him about the rogues. He notified the Alpha and got the principal to lock down the school. I turned the corner and saw Zander with his Beta I guess.

"Zander!!!!" I called out frantically.

He looked at me, "Sam! Why are you running? What's wrong?!"

I breathed heavily, "Rogues."

His eyes widened, "Where?!"

"They attacked me out on the track."

"Are you okay, Sam? How did you get away?!"

"Kaileigh. She tackled the one coming at me. She told me to get help."

His eyes turned black, "Kaileigh is out there?!"

I just nodded.

He sprinted outside with his Beta in tow.

"Go get Dylan!!" He shouted as he sprinted towards the track.

I mind-linked Kaileigh to let her know that help was coming.

I found Dylan already running towards me. I guess his dad filled him in. I caught up with him and filled him in on where is happened. We took off outside.

Suddenly, Kaileigh mind-linked me.

I'm going after him, Sam.

What?! Kaileigh! No!!!

This is my fight.

I turned to Dylan, "She went after him."

Dylan turned to me, still running, "What?! After who?"

"I guess one of the rogues took off."

Dylan growled as we kept running.

When we stepped outside, blood was everywhere. I gasped when I saw three rogues. Dead. Red all around them. Zander and his Beta were standing there, bewildered.

"Did you do this?" Dylan asked Zander.

"No. They were already dead when we got out here."

I looked around, "Kaileigh..."

Zander's head shot up, "Kaileigh did this? Where is she?!"

"She went after the last one..." I mumbled out.

"WHAT?!" Zander shouted, growling.

He suddenly sniffed the air and took off into the woods, with the rest of us following after.

(Kaileigh's POV)

I darted through the trees, following closely to the rogue. We went deeper and deeper into the woods. I didn't even know if we were in pack land anymore.
