Hi guys! So, this is a good chapter, we're going back into happy stuff!!!!!! Enjoy!

Sleet sat vigilantly by the egg, watching a crack that had appeared a few minutes ago. He watched expectantly, waiting for the little dragonet. Soon, the crack grew bigger and bigger until the entire top popped off. A little white head poked out, looking around. Sleet immediately felt love for this tiny little dragon. He reached in and pulled out the dragonet, letting it sit on his talon. She was all white, like her father, except for a spot on her back, where a bright orange spot that looked like a star was. The orange color stretched onto her wings a little, getting lighter and lighter until it was back to pure white. The little dragon waved her tail back and forth. looking at her surroundings. Sleet set her down on the ground. The little dragonet began to walk around, stumbling and wobbling, but soon enough getting the hang of it and running around. Sleet laughed as he watched her. Snowstorm walked in a moment later, shaking the snow off her scales. "It's horrible out-" She stopped when she spotted the little dragonet racing around. "Awwwww!" She squealed, scooping up the little dragon and examining her. Snowstorm looked at Sleet. "Look at how cute she is!" She exclaimed. "Have you named her yet?" Sleet shook his head, and Snowstorm thought for a moment. "How about Luna?" She suggested. "Ooh, or Polar?" Sleet shook his head again. "I'm still thinking." He said. Snowstorm shrugged. "Ok." She said. "You do that, and I'll hang out with my new niece!" Snowstorm placed the dragonet on her hand and began marching around, causing the little dragon to laugh. Sleet sat down and watched fondly as his sister played with his new daughter. His heart gave a pang as he thought about Eclipse, how that could be her playing with their dragonet. As if her voice was whispering to him, a name bounced around in his head. He gestured to Snowstorm, and she came over with the dragonet still balanced on her head. Sleet lifted her off and held her, smiling. "I have a name." He said. Snowstorm tilted her head inquiringly. "What is it?" She asked. Sleet looked at the little dragon that was his family now. "Sunstar." He said, and the little dragon smiled. Snowstorm laughed. "I think she likes it." She said. Sleet nodded. "I think she does." He said. "And I think Eclipse would too." He added quietly. Snowstorm nodded. "I think so." She said, hugging her brother and niece. Sunstar looked up at Sleet, her eyes just like Eclipse's. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you." He promised his daughter. Snowstorm left the new family and went back outside, keeping Nix and Avalanche away for a while. Sleet laid down, and Sunstar laid beside him, falling asleep with her tail next to his. Sleet watched her with fond eyes, still not believing that this was his daughter. And that Eclipse wouldn't get to meet her. Sleet sighed happily, placing a wing over Sunstar. She curled closer to Sleet, the sound of small snores filling the room. Sleet smiled, feeling like he could never be unhappy again. But when thoughts of Eclipse came up, he knew that wasn't true. But for now, he could enjoy the moment of happiness he had.
