Scorpions Tale

Hey guys! So I got a request to give the gangs clawmate Scorpion (a.k.a, Sunny's daughter)a nightwing bf. So, I thought that I would do a side story to explain what happens, and then Scorpion will make more appearances in the story. Enjoy!

Scorpion walked down the hall, tail swinging back and forth. Her wings were tucked at her sides. Her scales were a sandy brown color, and she had one horn wrapped in a bandage. Not because it was hurt, but because it looked cool. She had bright teal-blue eyes, and she always wore a light brown bandana around her neck. And she was feeling a little lonely. I mean, sure, she had friends, but most of them had S/O's. Like Ember and Starling, or Seafoam and Sunburst. Even Cypress has a girl, and he was a stiff Mudwing. Scorpion felt a little, well, alone. Her winglet was a very friendly place, but mostly because her friends and their bf/gf was in the winglet too. Ember had replaced Aero, so Starling lucked out. But Scorpion wanted somebody to hold her at night. She was thinking about maybe going home, but Mom (Sunny) was here. So she kinda had to stay. She was on her way to the prey center when she spotted a group of dragons. Probably one of the other winglets. She thought, going over to say hello. It was a group of five dragons. A Sandwing, a Rainwing, an Icewing, and two Nightwings. Scorpion looked at the group with amazement. The original Jade Winglet, plus a dragon that she didn't know. Winter, Qibli, Kinkajou, Moon, and another Nightwing that she hadn't seen before. Scorpion blushed when Qibli looked over at her. "Hi!" He called, and Scorpion almost fainted. Qibli had said hi to her. I mean, these dragons were kind of famous. Moon glanced back. "Wanna come over?" She asked. Scorpion nodded, skipping towards them. "I'm Scorpion." She said. Qibli smiled. "Sunny's daughter?" Scorpion nodded. The original Jade Winglet was pretty old now, adults. She wouldn't be surprised if they had dragonets of their own. Qibli grinned. "I'm Qibli, this is Moon, the cold one is Winter, the pink one is Kinkajou, and the other is DreamEnder." He said. Scorpion waved. Dreamender waved back. He seemed to be a little older than she was. Moon went and sat by DreamEnder. Scorpion spotted a resemblance immediately. They had the same gentle expression, and he had teardrop scales by his eyes. His eyes had a sparkle of mischief in them, and his smile had a way of cheering people up. He had a sandy colored underbelly that matched the color of Qibli's scales. This must be Moon and Qiblis son. Scorpion thought. Moon nudged DreamEnder forward. He shot his mother a look that said 'I can do this on my own.' Then walked forward towards Scorpion. She smiled at him, nice and friendly. "Hi." Scorpion said in her happy voice. DreamEnder smiled nervously. "Hi." He said. "Your Qibli and Moon's son aren't you?" Scorpion asked. He blinked in surprise. "How did you know?" Scorpion grinned. "Well, the resemblance is pretty obvious. So I was right?" DreamEnder nodded, and Scorpion silently congratulated herself. Master detective over here. Make way! She yelled in her mind. DreamEnder looked at her strange. Oh, right, he's a mind reader. Hi DreamEnder. She thought. He grinned. "Sooooooooo........" Said Scorpion. "Are you attending JMA?" DreamEnder nodded. "Yep. And sorry I was in your mind. There are just a lot of hyper-active minds here."Scorpion shrugged. "I don't care. It's not like I have any thoughts I should be ashamed of, sooo...You can be in my mind whenever you want!" She said brightly, making DreamEnder grin again. Scorpion regarded him. Wow. He is HOT. She thought, then dispelled the thought quickly, blushing. DreamEnder raised an eyebrow. Scorpion pretended like nothing happened. "Hmmmmmm," She said. "You'll probably be in the Gold Winglet, since Ember just transferred." Too bad. It would be pretty great/wonderful/absolutely amazing to have him in my winglet. She thought, then pushed the images that had sprung up of her and DreamEnder together out of her head as fast as she could. She laughed nervously, blushing when she saw DreamEnders confused expression. "What?" She asked. He beamed. You like me, don't you? He asked in her mind. Scorpion took a deep breath. Yes. I do. DreamEnder beamed bright, his smile extra bright compared to his scales. Scorpion laughed. Do you like me? She thought. Yes. I really, really, really do. Came the reply. Scorpion almost shrieked with joy, but caught herself. Sooooooo....... DreamEnder said in her mind. Scorpion grinned. Sooooo......You're my boyfriend now, right? Dreamender grinned back at her. Yeah. I am.
