Sunburst sat with her mother and father, enjoying the rising moons. Kiwi and Firefly were already asleep. But the moons weren't the only reason they were out. The egg had started hatching five minutes ago, and the family was anxiously awaiting the new arrival. Suddenly a sneeze sounded from inside the egg. A little dragonet popped it's head out, examining the world. Glory laughed and picked up the sneezy little baby. "Welcome to the world, Passion." She said. Sunburst tilted her head. "Passion?" Glory nodded. "Passionfruit. So Passion." The name was fitting. Passion had a thinking face, obviously wondering about the new world around him. Deathbringer went to say hello to his new son, but Sunburst hung back. She went over to the waterfall, trailing her talon in it's cool surface. It reminded her of Seafoam. A rainbow fish swam over, splashing. Sunburst smiled. "Hello, Kal. Long time no see." She said to the fish. Her childhood friend Kaleidoscope. The fish. Sunburst went to go meet her new brother. Passion was already walking, examining everything. He sneezed again. Sunburst laughed. "Your quite the sneezy one, aren't you?" She said. Passion sneezed. Sunburst felt love swelling up in her, for all the dragons she loved. For her mother, Glory, and her father, Deathbringer, and Kiwi and Firefly and Passion and Starling and all the dragons she had come to know. But most of the love was for Seafoam. Sunburst loved him more than anyone. And she hoped he felt the same.
