HI guys! The pic is totally random, just thought that it would be fun. Enjoy the story!

Sunburst flew with Starling across a crystal clear sky. Sunburst didn't exactly want to tell her friend her secret while they were flying, out of fear she might fall out of the sky. So she landed in the Sand Kingdom. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she jumped right back into the air. "Hot!" She yelped. Starling looked cautiously at the ground,  eyes narrowed. Sunburst growled. "We could really use an Icewing right about now." She landed again, hopping up and down on the hot sand. Starling chose to stay in the air. "So...." Sunburst started. "I need to tell you something. That's kind of important." Starling stopped her. "I know about your dragonet, if that's what you were going to tell me. Congrats!" She said. Sunbursts mouth hung open. "How did you- I thought I-" Starling laughed. "I'm your best friend. I can tell." Sunburst smirked. "Soooooooo," Starling drummed the ground with her talons. "Have you told Seafoam?" Sunburst almost laughed. "Heck no." She said, earning a frown from Starling. "......But I'm going to tell him today. When we get home. So there." Starling smiled at her friend. "I know something else is bugging you." She said, and Sunburst sighed. "Okay, to be honest? I'm a little, no, really scared." Starling hugged the dragon that was basically a sister to her. "Don't worry." She said. "When you have that little dragonet, you'll wonder why you ever worried at all. Every bit is worth it." Sunburst looked at her. "Really?" Starling nodded. Sunburst did too. "Okay." She said. Then she hugged Starling tightly. "Thank you. I don't know where I would be without you." Starling hugged her back. Then they sprang into the air to go tell Seafoam the news.

"Really?" He said when Sunburst finished. She nodded. Seafoam beamed, kissing Sunburst. She laughed, curled in close to him. Starling watched from the other side, quietly smiling. She remembered Ember's reaction when she had told him about Phoenix. He'd smiled big and wide, kissing her once, then again. Starling wished only the best for her friends. She said goodbye, then flew off towards home. Sunburst sighed contently, her scales pressed against Seafoams. He kissed her head, putting a wing over her and wrapping his tail around hers. Sunburst yawned. Seafoam looked at her, a little worried. "You alright?" He asked. Sunburst smiled. "I'm fine. Just a little tired." Seafoam nodded, then curled closer around her. Sunburst leaned into him, closing her eyes and almost instantly falling asleep. When she woke up, Seafoam was still beside her, looking tired. She laughed, a little sleepily. "Have you been awake this whole time?" She asked, and Seafoam nodded. Then he yawned. Sunburst stood up. "You get some rest while I eat something." She said. Seafoam began to protest, but Sunburst stopped him. "You need it, okay? I'll be alright. Plus, I have a very secret location for a home that also has all the food I need, so......You can sleep for a while." Seafoam smiled, kissing her then falling asleep, soft snores filling the air. Sunburst flew up to the trees to look for a piece of fruit to hold her over. Liana dropped onto her back, purring slightly. Sunburst rolled her eyes at the blue-gray sloth. Then she spotted a perfect passionfruit and went to go get it. She sat down with the fruit, biting into it and enjoying every bit. When Seafoam woke up, she showed him where she had gotten it. Another had grown into it's place. Sunburst frowned. "That's odd. That is exactly where mine came from. And they don't grow that fast." She gasped. "What if it's magic? What if this spot is magic!" Seafoam looked nervous. "I don't think so." He said. Sunburst looked at him. "Why not?" She asked. Seafoam swallowed hard. "Um, because.....It's unlikely?" He said. Sunburst frowned. And when a realization came to her, she frowned deeper. "You did this, didn't you?" She asked, her voice low and dangerous. Seafoam swept his tail back and forth, a trickle of sweat on his forehead. "You're an animus, aren't you?" Sunburst said, almost disbelievingly. Seafoam looked down. "You are." Sunburst said, disbelieving. "You are and you didn't tell me!" She was yelling now. Seafoam looked at her with a sad expression. "I'm sorry." He whispered. Sunburst growled. "Sorry?" Tears sprang to her eyes. Seafoam reached out, but Sunburst jerked away. "I can't believe this." She said. "Sunburst-" Seafoam started. Sunburst cut him off. "No. No excuses." Tears slipped down Seafoams cheeks. "I'm leaving." Sunburst said, taking off into the air. She cried, not knowing why he would do this to her. Seafoam didn't follow, but he saw something glinting at the edge of the platform. A ring swirled with blue and green and yellow and orange. Sunbursts ring.

Hi guys! Ok, so I'm being kind of evil.😈 (Even to myself). But I had to have some drama between the seemingly perfect couple! Also, I kinda wanted to put an animus in the story, so yeah. There is our animus. Stay flappy! Or don't, because I know this chapter stings my Sunfoam shippers. Don't worry!
