Sunburst tried to calm her friend. But Starling was panicked. It only got worse when Seafoam came back and said, "Hey did you guys know we're staying in the Gold cave for a little?" Sunburst glared at her boyfriend, making him smile nervously. "What did I do?" He asked. Sunburst sighed, walking over to him. "You didn't do anything. Starling is just.........A little upset about staying in the Gold cave." Seafoam snorted. "A little? She looks likes she's about to have a heart attack over there!" Sunburst frowned and smacked him. "You can be such an idiot sometimes, you know that?" He grinned at her. "Isn't that why you love me?" Sunburst smacked him again. He just shrugged. "Come on, Starling. Time to go." Sunburst said gently to her friend, helping her too her feet. Starling took a deep breath, standing up tall and pushing her glasses up on her nose. "I'm ready." She said, more to herself then to her friends. They walked side by side towards the Gold Winglet cave, Starling keeping her composure the whole time. When the cave was in sight, Starling began to shake. Sunburst grinned at her friend. "Wow. You've got it bad." Seafoam looked confused. "Bad for what?" Sunburst snorted. "For Ember, genius. She's got a crush on him!" Seafoam swallowed hard. "You do?" Said a voice. Looking up, Sunburst saw Ember outside the cave, a shocked look on his face. Starling turned red horns to tail, stammering a few unintelligible words before turning and racing down the hallway. Sunburst was about to race after her, but Ember beat her too it. He jumped into the sky, following Starling's path. Sunburst sat down, head in her talons. Seafoam sat beside her. "Hey, it's ok." He said, wrapping her in his wings. Sunburst began to cry. "Ugh, Seafoam! Stop trying to make me feel better. It's my fault that Ember knows now, and she'll probably never talk to me again." Sunburst said, tears streaming down her cheeks. Seafoam touched hi nose to hers. "It's ok." He murmured, eyes closed. Sunburst sniffed. Then she closed her eyes too. They leaned in, first touching noses, then touching lips. Sunburst's heart exploded. She kept her lips on his, wrapping her talons around his neck. His went around her waist, she could feel them on her upper and lower back. She pressed herself harder against him, tilting her head to the side. When they finally pulled away, Sunburst felt like a million butterfly's had been released into her stomach, fluttering around intensely. Seafoam was grinning like a maniac. Sunburst pecked his lips one last time, short and fast but still wonderful, before heading towards where Ember and Starling had gone. Sunburst heard them talking around a corner, so she stopped to listen. ".....And I think you are the most perfect dragon to ever roam the earth." Ember was saying. Sunburst could picture Starlings expression, blush in her cheeks and a smile on her face. "You do?" She whispered. Sunburst thought Ember must have nodded, because Sunburst heard the scrape of claws against dirt. She peeked her head around the corner to see Starling on top of Ember, pressing their lips together. She stifled a laugh. Who knew Starling could be so confident when it came to, well, true love? Seafoam was beside her, and he did laugh. Starling looked up, tearing her face away from Embers. He looked happy. Sunburst yanked her head back, Seafoam copying her. "You can come out now, Sunburst. I know you're there." Said Starling. Sunburst peeked her head around the corner. "How?" Starling rolled her eyes. "Well, you're not very stealthy. And your wingtips are bright pink, which is kinda hard to miss." Sunburst glanced at her wingtips. They were bright pink! She growled at Seafoam a little, then kissed him and went over to Starling. She raised an eyebrow at Sunburst. "Did I just see what I think I saw?" She said, grinning. Sunburst snorted. "I don't know. Did I really see you jump on top of Ember and kiss the heck out of him?" Starling blushed, and so did Ember. Sunburst just grinned. "Let's go. Now that your weird drama problems are over, we can go get comfortable. And, you know, maybe make it inside the cave?" Starling smiled. "Let's go."She twined her tail with Embers, walking close to him so that their wings touched. Sunburst laughed. How did this romantic stuff come so easy to her book-worm friend? Starling looked at her. "What?" She asked. Sunburst just shook her head. "Nothing."
