Before The Beginning

"No! Don't kill him please!" I scream." The tears start to form and I am not stable enough to blink them away. They run down my cheek and create puddles around my eyes. Our story was a story of hatred to love. He became everything to me just by being there. That was something my family never did for me. Especially this man who stood before me. He was not a true father. He had no right to hurt the only person who ever truly cared for me. The one who struggled to love me, but gave me everything he had. He gave me hope.

I'm getting ahead of myself though. Let's start from the very beginning. Before it, all started. Before the beginning.

Have you ever hear the story of a girl who loved to party, had lots of friends, a beautiful smile, a famous father, and an outgoing personality?

That is what Sierra Morgan appeared to be to the outside world. Daughter of Theo Morgan, famous author, and entrepreneur, Sierra appeared to have it all. It wasn't until you attempted to look past her smile and bright blue eyes did you see the broken girl. That didn't matter though since no one ever attempted to break her facade of perfection.

Talking to Sierra you would never know that her father hadn't made effort to see her in years. You wouldn't notice that beyond her 10,000 square foot mansion there was a girl so lost. Her mother was terrible to her when she was younger and never did she question the authority of her parents. They never treated Sierra like their daughter. Sierra was a prop and burden to them. That was until Sierra's younger brother Jace Morgan was born. Then all of a sudden Sierra became a caretaker. It didn't surprise her when her mother disappeared. Women like Sierra's mother never were meant to be mothers. The constant pain and torture that women put Sierra through was immense. Her mother's disappearance didn't come as a surprise to Theo either. He never loved her and wanted her just for fame. A publicly loved author with an actress seemed ideal right? After Sierra's birth, Theo knew he made a mistake. He then took long trips and didn't return for weeks. Those weeks turned into one visit per year.

On Sierra's 17th  Birthday, 3 years after her mother's departure Sierra began getting answers to a question she had buried beneath her. She made it seem as if she didn't care about her mother, after all, she had tortured her all her life. But in the end, that was her mother and Sierra couldn't help but wonder "what happened to her?"
