I smiled and exited the car before walking into the Walsh house. Adyline saw me enter and her eyes were red from crying. She ran up to me and pulled me into a tight hug. "You're safe! I am so sorry! Sierra those days without you were the worst day of my life! Especially when Maddox disappeared."

"Maddox what?" I asked. Panic swept through me.

Adyline looked up at me and said "Um I thought you knew? As soon as you left Maddox flipped. He went searching for you and hasn't come back since. Everyones starting to get worried and a search party has been sent out to look for him. I think he..he might be dead." said Adyline tears reforming around her eyes.

"No! Why would he be dead! That's crazy!" I was starting to get frustrated.

"According to the latest news on his disappearance, the FBI found out that he fell into a trap. The criminal wanted to draw out your bodyguard. I think he was successful. I heard that you were drugged and I'm assuming that's when it went down." she said obviously beginning to cry again.

"So the whole point of that was to find my bodyguard. That smartass! It worked, their stupid plan worked. They didn't really want me they wanted him. That's why they kept me in the same place for so long! Max found me though. Why wasn't it the FBI?" I asked.

"You weren't in immediate danger Sierra. Maddox however is. They knew that you would be found and you would be safe, but for Maddox..everyone is unsure" she replied.

"We have to find him! He did that for me! He could've died for me Adyline! Does Max know!" I shouted.

"Sierra please calm down. My parents are out searching for him right now. All we can do is hope and wait. And yes Max knows..but he made saving you his main priority. I'm sure he went to look for him after dropping you off. I saw his car through the cameras. Look I don't know what's happening between you two, but if it's what you want, you should go for it. Max obviously cares for you more than he ever has cared for anyone else. You're special and he sees it." As Adyline said this she sat back down on the couch.

"I think you right. Um does everyone know I'm safe?" I questioned.

"Yes everyone knows. I knew Max was going to go look for you and he was motivated. I knew he would find you. That's when I notified everyone including other agents that you would be fine. When I saw you exit the car I sent out a pager and your disappearance case closed. Maddox's still is very open however." she said.

I sighed before saying "I need some sleep. We can talk in the morning"

"Ok sounds good" Adyline whispered.

We then walked upstairs and I gave her a tight hug before we parted ways into our rooms.

Before entering mine however, I walked into Maddox's. I stood there and took in the sight of the space. It reminded me of him and his short stay at the Walsh house. "I really hope he is ok" I whispered to myself.

I walked back into my room and saw a figure standing at my window. It was Melissa. I could tell from the way the figure carried themselves. I knew it was her, I was sure.

"Melissa" I whispered.

"You're safe!" she ran towards me and pulled me into her embrace. "That Payne boy might need his own spot in the FBI for this one. I am so happy you are ok!"

"He's really something" I laughed.

"Give him a chance. We've done enough digging on him to realize that he's nothing to worry about" she smiled and said "Anyways what happened with you?"

"Melissa, he took me to a cell. Locked me in there. Gave me barely any food. Then basically admitted he was working for my dad. Then..then he..he showed me a video of my dad..shooting..m..mom" Tears took over and I started crying again.

Melissa looked shocked, but she just stood there and let me cry in her arms. She was also tearing up, but I noticed a rage inside her. "I promise we will find your father and put an end to his games Sierra. We will do justice for your mother. Together."
