(Yannha's POV)
"3 weeks, 3 weeks since then. Hay...." Mahina kong sambit habang nakatingin sa bintana ng kotse.
It is currently 3:00 pm. Mam Lexi is driving me to the airport. I have a flight to Boracay mamayang 5:30 pm. Isinabay nila ako sa sasakyan dahil papunta na rin sila sa tagaytay 2 days away nalang kasi and kasal na ni Kieanne. Meaning it's been over a month since the pre-rehearsal.
"Yannha ok ka lang?" Mahinang tanong ni mam Lexi dahil naidlip si Jeuliette sa likuran. Nginitian ko siya at tumango bago ko ilipat ang mata ko sa bintana.
"Balita ko may secret admirer ka daw. Araw-araw nagpapadala ng red roses." Wika nito at saka ay binigyan ako ng makabuluhang tingin.
"Wala po 'yun mam, scammer lang 'yun." Pabiro kong wika.
"Hmm... You know, ganyan din 'yung asawa ko dati noong nanliligaw pa lang. Araw-araw nagbibigay ng bulaklak, either a bouquet or just a piece of rose. May kasama pa 'yung notes." Pagkukwento ni mam Lexi, "I was doubtful of his feelings at first but in the long run I knew he was sincere." May halong kilig at tuwa sa boses nito.
"Mam, gaano katagal bago niyo na-realize na mahal o gusto 'yung asawa niyo." Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Isang araw." Seryoso nitong sagot,
"Totoo po?" Gulat kong tanong.
"Oo, I was also doubting what I feel at first but when I'm with him my heart beats so fast. And syempre kinikilig ako kapag kasama siya. Hindi pwedeng madetermine ng oras kung kailan ka magkakagusto sa isang tao. When you feel it, you feel it and then you accept it." Wika ni mam Lexi.
She glanced at me and smiled, "So accept what you feel, you never know, what you feel may be the right thing."
Napaisip ako sa sinabi ni mam Lexi 'accept what you feel...'
After ng ilang minuto ay nakarating na kami sa airport at sumama sa akin si Jeuliette sa loob ng airport. Ihahatid niya daw ako hanggang sa loob kaya ayun.
"Ingat ka ha, tumawag ka sakin pagkadating mo sa Boracay." Wika nito, kahit kasi harsh o sarcastic siya magsalita minsan ay siya ang pinaka-maaalahin sa barkada.
"Oo, ilang beses mo na sinabi." Nakangiti kong wika.
Tumingin ako sa relo ko at nakita kong 3:46 pm na kaya paalisin ko na dapat siya dahil pupunta pa silang tagaytay. Before I could even speak I heard a loud voice calling my name.
"Yannha! Yannha!" Sigaw ng isang lalaki.
My heart race as I seem to recognize that voice. I looked around and I saw a tall guy earnestly looking around, searching for something... As if his life depended on what he was searching for...
My heart raced even faster as I saw him look in my direction and smiled widely as if he found a treasure.
He was meters away at first he was running then it got slower until he was walking towards me. Few steps away from he stopped. He smiled at me like I was the most beautiful treasure he has ever seen.
At that moment I accepted that I like him, and maybe I even love him. I smiled back at him and these were the words he greeted me. "I really do love your smile."
