Love at First Smile

FINAL CHAPTER

(Yannha's POV) 

"I now know that I too love you." I said it and I saw his face flashed mixed emotions. 

"Wait, are you sure? I'm not in a hurry to hear your answer." He said in a fluster. 

"Akala ko pa naman matutuwa ka." I muttered but I made sure he could heard my voice. 

"I'm happy but I want you to be sure of your feelings about me." He said, I smiled before I spoke again. 

"I am sure of my feelings. At first I was doubtful because it's only been few times since we met and the first time was when I was when I'm in highschool." He was shock by my words. 

"You remember that?" I smiled and nodded. "I realized it only when we left the pre-rehearsal last time." 

He smiled before talking again. "I will tell you something." 

"What?" 

"The first time I saw you I was already attracted to you. The second time I was sure I liked you. Then for the third time, the day we spend time together I realized then that I love you." Speaking those words while intently looking in my eyes, I smiled because i can see that he is saying the truth. 

"Remember the time I got you home?" 

"Yes, why?" 

He smiled before cupping face and lean to kiss me. This time it wasn't just a peck, it was a slow passionate kiss he was offering. 

Nagitla pa ako nung una pero slowly I came to answer his kisses. 

Never have I ever thought that a single kiss could make my knees go weak. We didn't care if people are watching, our emotions came out in those kiss. Our lips parted but both of our foreheads still connected. 

"Ikaw ha, sabi mo noon kapag tayo na tyaka ka hahalik." Ngingiti-ngiti kong wika, he chuckled. 

"Investment, nilagyan ko kasi ng gayuma ang labi ko bago ka halikan. Para sure win na." Wika nito saka tumawa, he hugged me tight in the middle of the crowd. 

"Never I imagined I'm hugging the lady I often mesmerize in the picture." 

"What picture?" He look at me and said. "Next time I will let you see it, let's just enjoy this moment before you go to the plane." 

This time I chuckled and nod my head. While in his arms I asked, "Meaning love at first sight ka sakin?" 

He remove my arms that was hugging him and interlocked my hands with his. He brought both hands up in his face before planting a kiss on each hand. Then he look at me smiling, "No my dear, it was love at first smile." He never let go of my hands until I had to board to the plane. 

And now, wearing every girls dream dress while I walked down the aisle. The hands that I will always held, and the hands that will always reach out to me is right in front of me. I took his hand and we walked in front of the altar. He whispered to me, "I love you." I smiled and whisper back, "I love you." 

"Uy, mamaya na kayo mag lampungan. 'Yung pari naiinip sa inyo." Napalingon kami nang marinig namin ang mahinang wika ni Jeuliette. "Parang ikaw 'yung naiinip eh, susunod na naman kayo ah." Natatawa kong wika pabalik sa kanya. 

 I never believed in love at fist sight but in my case I believed in love at first smile.
