Love at First Smile

CHAPTER 37

(Nate's POV) 

It is 2 days away before my cousin'a wedding and I am on my way to Yannha's working place. I got back from Spain late last night and couldn't contact her because I'm afraid I would disturb her sleep. While driving I keep wondering on how would she react. Will she be happy or angry, but I know she will be surprised. I arrived happily and got to the reception to ask if she's around. 

"Hi, can I ask if Yannha came to work?" I asked 

"Sir Ms.Santos is currently not around please come back after a week." Sagot ng receptionist. 

"A week? Where is she? Is she ok?" I worriedly asked. 

"Yes sir she is ok, she is just out for her events." 

"I see, can I ask if where will that went happen." 

"Sorry sir but I cannot tell you anymore." 

"I see, thank you." I disappointly said I was about to go but a lady talked to me. "Nate?" She asked.

"Do we know each other, because I believe we do not." Walang emosyon kong wika. 

"Right we don't know each other but I heard you from Jeuliette and Yannha. I'm Ashlynn Reyes, one of their friend." Pagpapakilala niya.

"Ashlynn Marie Reyes, girlfriend of Lucas Auguste?" I asked, "Yeah, how did you know?" She curiously asked. 

"We are friends, by the way can I ask you where is Yannha's event?" I asked her. 

"Ah, sa Boracay. Mamayang 5:30 pm 'yung flight niya. On the way na siya sa airport by now." Wika niya habang nakatingin sa wristwatch niya. 

"I see thanks." I said and ready to walk to leave but she suddenly called me. 

"Do you or not like her? Because if you don't, then don't confuse her heart." She said in a serious tone. 

"I don't like her." I said, she looked like she was about to say something but I cut her off. "I don't like her because I love her." I said and took off. 

When I was walking I could hear her shout 'good luck!'. 

I got on the car and immediately drove to the airport terminal of domestic flights. After I don't know how many minutes, I finally got to the airport. The building is not huge but it is still big and a lot of people was inside so looking for a one person may be a bit hard. 

I looked at the time it was 3:46 pm I knew that any minute her flight may be called for boarding. So I shouted her name. "Yannha! Yannha!".

I called her name twice and it seems she didn't heard it. I look around and I have to find her. I have to tell her I didn't plan to confuse her heart. And what did Ashlynn even mean by that? 

I looked around and I saw her. I smiled then run towards her. My pace slowed down until I was few steps away from her. 

She look surprised when she saw me. Seeing her again after few weeks made me happy. 

I smiled at her. And moments later she also smiled back. I suddenly blurted out what I was thinking at that time. "I really do love your smile."
