A large part of this book is raw and emotional. Often times, we are left in a world of sugar coating, my goal for this book and it's readers is to laugh a little, love a little, and cry a little. All these emotions are real, and they're real experiences. Everyone has experienced some version of these things, so now allow me to share with you all of the good that has happened these past years, which I might have failed to mention.
I went on the most amazing trip to California before the pandemic, I met Chelsea Briggs who is one of my entertainment idols, I lost weight and leaned to love myself, I cut out toxic people, I made new friends who love me a lot, I reconnected with old friends, found myself, and learned to grow into a loving and happy personality. I also got a bunch of new hobbies, and I now have a loving boyfriend.
The point of life, is not to be happy all the time, because if that was so, we wouldn't appreciate it. Life is about crying, and living, and smiling, and grieving, and fighting, and it shouldn't be any other way. The point is, it's okay to feel things, both happy and sad. However, never go through life feeling sad forever, there will always be happiness in the end, and if you're not happy, then it's simply not the end.
As my senior year of college comes to a close, I thank you for embarking on this journey with me. Life is emotional, and that is what absolutely makes it worth living.
Reader, I hope you've learned to laugh and cry with me.
So if you're struggling now, I hope you could relate to the emotions in here, and as always, just know you're never alone.
All my love.
