Living your dreams.
SO let's say your biggest dream in the whole wide world is to become a zookeeper in Australia maybe. AND lets say you decided that was your dream just as you were exiting high school. So as college goes on, maybe the real world hits you a little and you lose track of that dream. Bills come, accidental fines appear, you realize you have no money for your future, you have to take extra college classes... wouldn't that put a damper on your dreams.
What if you're 50 or 60 by now and haven't reached your dream yet?
Are you really living your life to the fullest or are you conforming to the norm?
You know what I mean. Graduating, finding a job, getting married, having kids, retiring, and dying. If that is your dream, then great! I am happy for you because you did exactly what you wanted to do while you were on earth.
However, for the odd person that wants to do something like move to Australia and country hop and become a zookeeper, will that ever be possible? Most people would say no.
LUCKILY. I am here to help, but you'll have to be willing to do exactly what I say.
First off, start saving your money IMMEDIATELY. This may take a lot of discipline, but saying no to frequent outings and things like buying pizza is what you have to do to if you really want your dream. It's sad, but you need money to survive sis.
NEXT you have to understand that every dream followed doesn't come easy. If your dream is easily accessible to you, it's not your dream. They're called dreams for a reason, and making them reality will certainly not be easy. Casey Neistat is a famous YouTube vlogger who I take a lot of influence from, and he explained this idea in the best way possible. He said that your entire life, you'll soon realize that you'll never really "make it". Meaning, there is no end point. You will always be fighting and fighting and pushing to get where you want to be. If you think you've done your best, think again, you can always improve and absolutely NEVER get comfortable. He is someone I really look up to in the media world and I always probably will. One of my favorite quotes of his is "Do More". I like that quote so much I hung it up in the lobby of my college dorm. (Nobody has noticed yet).
THEN this is possibly the most challenging step of all; you have to stay optimistic. If you let yourself get lost in the void of negativity, you'll probably never get anywhere. Negativity doesn't improve or contribute to anything. So stop it.
You can be better.
You will be better.
The only thing that could ever stop you from achieving your dreams IS you.
It's your move.
