I walked into the Webster Bank Arena with my best friend and tag partner, (Y/T/N), by my side. We kept our hoods up and our heads down until we got to our locker room. Our debut tonight was meant to be a surprise, so we didn't want anyone to see us.

"Ready for tonight?" (Y/T/N) asked once the door was shut.

"Absolutely," I said. "I think it's time these boys met the best tag team in the business."

(Y/T/N) laughed.

I put my bag down and pulled out my gear for the night out. I was wearing my last set of Hardy Boyz gear from TNA while (Y/T/N) was wearing her last set of Young Buck gear from Ring of Honor.

The two of us got changed.

I walked over to the mirror to pull my hair up.

"Gosh," I said once my hair was up. "I never thought we'd end up here."

"I know," (Y/T/N) said. "But here we are."

I sat down and grabbed my phone from my bag. I pulled up the group chat I had going with my brothers.

Me: Remember to watch NXT TakeOver tonight.

Matt: Already have the Network pulled up.

Jeff: Same. Even though you've yet to tell us why.

Me: Just promise me you'll watch.

Matt: I promise.

Jeff: Promise.

"They gonna watch tonight?" (Y/T/N) asked.

"Yep," I said. "Are Matt and Nick gonna watch?"

"I think so," (Y/T/N) said.

"Let's make our brothers proud then," I said.

Later...

The first match of the night just finished. Matt Riddle picked up a win over Roderick Strong.

Now it was time for the fatal 4-way tag team ladder match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Only three of the teams had been announced for the match so no one knew (Y/T/N) and I would be included.

(Y/T/N) and I watched as the tag teams started to make their way to the ring. The first out was the Street Profits. We started dancing to their entrance music while we waited.

"I like these guys," (Y/T/N) said.

"Yeah," I said. "They seem fun."

Once they were in the ring, the Forgotten Sons came out.
