Flufftober Day 16: Falling Asleep Together

Most of the roster had all decided to go out for drinks. I was exhausted after today so I decided to stay back at the hotel.

I started flipping through the channels, trying to find something to watch. One of the channels was showing Hobbs and Shaw. I knew Roman made an appearance in it, but I had yet to watch it. Luckily, it was just starting.

I was flipping through the room service menu when there was a knock at the door.

"Hey," I said when I opened the door. "I thought you went out with everyone."

"I changed my mind," Roman said. "Then I remembered you weren't going out either."

"Well I was just about to order some food and watch a movie if you'd like to join me," I said.

"Sure," Roman said.

I stepped aside so he could come in before closing the door behind him.

"So, what are you watching?" Roman asked as he sat down on the bed.

"Hobbs and Shaw," I said.

"Really?" Roman asked with a smile.

"Well yeah," I said. "I know you're in it and I didn't get to go see it when it came out and it was on."

"Then I'm happy to be watching it with you," Roman said.

We ordered room service and made ourselves comfortable to watch the movie.

After the movie...

Roman had his arm around me as I rested my head on his chest. I could hardly keep my eyes open.

"So, what did you think?" Roman asked.

"I liked it," I mumbled.

"Tell you what, I'll go so you can get some sleep," Roman said.

"Stay," I said.

"You really want me to stay?" Roman asked.

"Mm-hm," I said.

"Whatever you want," Roman said.

He reached over and turned off the lamp. The two of us slid down into the blankets and quickly fell asleep.
