Flufftober Day 27: "I'm cold" "Here, have my jacket"

By the time Wardlow came back from the gym, I was up and dressed for the day.
"Hey," Wardlow said when he came in. "I wasn't expecting you to be up."
"I couldn't fall back asleep," I said.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Wardlow said.
"Don't worry about it," I said. "It's good to get up early once in a while."
"So, what have you been up to this morning?" Wardlow asked.
"Not a lot," I said. "I haven't really known what to do, but I was wondering, would you want to go try out that new cafe down the street?"
"Sure, just let me take a shower first," Wardlow said.
"Okay," I said.
Once he was ready to go, we headed out the door.
We decided to walk to the cafe since it wasn't that far from our house. I walked with my arms crossed across my chest.
"Everything okay?" Wardlow asked when he noticed.
"Yeah, I'm just a bit cold," I said.
"Here," Wardlow said.
He stopped walking and took off the jacket he was wearing.
"Take my jacket," Wardlow said.
"Thank you," I said as I put it on.
I pulled it tight around me as we continued on to the cafe.
