"Whoever said dancing was easy, I hope they are dead" Lacy cursed out as she waved her hands around dramatically, she had her dress bought, and now she just had to do the dance part.
"Focus" Draco instructed, and Lacy let it a huff before placing her hands back onto his hand and shoulder, his going to her hand and waist. "Okay, now remember to step the other way, I go towards you and you step back"
"Avoid being close to you, got it" Lacy spoke quickly, Pansy snickered from where she watched them, Lacy had come out as rude by her statement, but she was just stating what she heard.
"Okay, now go" Draco took her step forward, and she stepped back in almost-sync, causing her to let out a grin that Draco returned before taking another one, which she responded to again. "Good, now, I'm going to pick you up and spin you, remember how that goes?"
"Place my hands on your shoulder and kick off the ground as you grab my waist" Lacy repeated, and Draco gave her a small praise before he picked up up, spinning her around as she let out a laugh, he placed her back down and patted her shoulder.
"You're doing good" Draco commented, and Pansy rolled her eyes.
"She's doing fantastic, you didn't learn properly until you were ten, it took you years" Pansy remarked, only for Draco to send her a small scowl.
"I'm just glad I haven't stepped on his toes for a while" Lacy admitted, letting go of Draco's shoulder as he stated it was time for a break. "I'd hate to embarrass Slytherin because I'm the only one who can't dance"
"We're getting there" Draco says, sitting down down near Pansy, who smacks his arm at his rude tone, but Lacy still smiles anyway.
"I just have to teach Harry" Lacy states, glancing at the click slightly before she looks back at her friends. "I have to go meet with Harry, I'll seriously guys later, thanks for the help Draco"
And just like that, she leaves the common too behind, Pansy looking suspiciously at where Lacy left. "I don't like it"
"Like what?" Blaise asked as he walks down the stairs, having just finished his homework on his dorm room, he walks over to the opposite sofa and takes his seat silently. "I thought Draco was teaching Lacy to dance?"
"She left" Draco responded shortly, picking up his novel that he tossed aside when he saw Lacy's terrible dancing skills.
"Lacy has been spending a lot of time with Potter" Pansy muses, glancing at the portrait on where she left before she looked back at the two boys with her. "I don't like it"
"It's not like they're dating or anything, otherwise they would have gone to the ball together" DrCo states, his nose wrinkled slightly as he thought of Lacy dating Potter.
"Unless they don't want people to know, or if they're not official yet" Pansy says thoughtfully, planting ideas in the boys heads before she shakes her head. "Lacy would tell me"
But it was too late, as Blaise had already began to think it over.
"Okay, now switch" Lacy instructed, and Harry switched his hands to the opposite position as they danced around the common room, several other people had joined in for some fun, which had made it funnier when George and Fred forced Ron to dance with Hermione.Harry had learnt the steps easy enough, it was being under everybody's eagle eyes that would get to Harry, he didn't do well when people put a load of pressure for him to be amazing.
"And spin" Lacy said, laughing again as he picked her up and spinner her around, and she ended face to face with Harry, the pair of them letting out a chuckled together.
"Move over!" Fred called out, and he walked through the pair as he danced around with his younger sister, who really had no choice in the matter as she was practically dragged around.
"Again?" Harry offered, holding his hand out to Lacy after the pair had laughed at the crazy scenery around them, and Lacy took his hand gently with a nod.
