"That was awful" Lacy grumbled as she walked down the corridor with some of her friends, she clung into Blaise's hand still as they walked down the chattering hallway. "I can't believe that the ministry in infiltrating Hogwarts, do they think Dumbledore is training us for war or something?"

"We don't know that yet" Blaise tried to comfort her as he squeezed her hand slightly, and Lacy let out a cross between a huff and a pout.

"All I know is that the toad clearly is here to change everything because of what happened last year" Theo concluded as they finally reached the dungeons, waiting for the prefects to lead the new first years in first. "No idea why though"

"Because they're cowards who refuse to believe that he's back" Sylvia LeStrange added on as she randomly appeared next to the group, making Theo flinch as Pansy quickly kissed the girls cheek. "Thought I'd come onto your common room for a while, if that's okay with you?"

"Of course, S" Pansy spoke before anyone else could answer, holding the girls hands as she smiled happily, obviously excited to see her after being separated for too long.

"Are they..?" Blaise leaned towards Lacy with a whisper, and she looked up at him and grinned brightly, nodding ecstatically as she ignored Theo's shocked face.

"I spent the beginning of the summer with the pair of them snogging, they had their cute moments but most of it was gross" Lacy's nose wrinkled slightly as she thought about it, Theo let out a loud laugh before they stepped forward towards the door, the first years having gone in at last. "Pureblood, I heard it from a prefect"

The group filled into the common room, growing as they noticed Draco Malfoy looking smug. Pansy was the one to speak out about it. "What's got you looking all smug, Malfoy? Finally got over your daddy issues?"

"No, and you should watch how you talk, Parkinson" Draco stood up with a smirk on his lips, "changes are coming to Hogwarts after all"

"Just because a high pitched towed with a pink diy bow hat pops up and says things are changing, doesn't mean I'm going to listen" Sylvia snapped at her cousin, who sent her a small faltered smirk before he decided to keep his facade up.

"Who knows what the ministry will do, maybe get rid of those waste of space mudbloods. Or even better, half breeds" Draco sneered, and he was soon silenced as the nicest one of the group held her wand to his neck.

"I think you should be careful, Malfoy. Never know when your words will bite you in the arse" Lacy responded sharply, her wand tightly against his throat as the common room watched with wide eyes, the was the 'nice Slytherin' after all.

"You just don't like the possibility of you're little friends being treated for what they are. They're blood is reining ours, it's disgusting"

"Shut the fuck up Malfoy, did you forget that I'm a half blood?" Lacy questioned angrily, tears filling her eyes as she remained frustrated. "Do you want my dirty blood on you? Am I truly as disgusting as you're making us out to be?"

Draco gulped as he watched the girl closely, the girl who had treated like a sister the year before, she just lowered her wand down slowly as she realised she had already beaten him.

"Take away us half bloods, muggleborns and half breeds and you're stuck with what you call 'purebloods' the cowards who hide behind a so called 'opinion' because they're too afraid to stand in what they truly believe in" Lacy spoke fiercely, knowing that most Slytherin's were disagreeing with her. "One of you thinks different and they're casted out, but ten again they're always happy without your so called 'happy living'. Your Aunt Andromeda is a great example of that"

Lacy placed her wand in her boot as she glanced around at the sneers and glares, and she rolled her eyes before she turned to walk out the way she had arrive only moments ago, she glanced back at Draco. "And I know you don't agree with these opinions, after all, you have experienced love as well. Now, I'll be in the Gryffindor common room"
