The girl bounced up and down on her place as they walked to the station, her guard being Snape as he was the one to volunteer—although she didn't know that, she was buzzing with excitement from beside Hermione, describing how much she had to talk to Pansy, Hermione was extremely tense as Snape was taking them to the platform.
"Pansy said she went to France for two weeks, saying she brought back an old heirloom book that she isn't interested in" Lacy grinned, "it's contents are filled to the brim with ancient healing potions!"
"That sounds interesting, let me know what you find out" Hermione adds on, her arm looped with the girl who was practically running on sugar.
Snape simply ignored the two girls chattering before he pointed at the wall, gesturing for them to go through, Hermione immediately tugged the girl away from the rude professor and into the wall.
Lacy smiled brighter when she caught sight of the Hogwarts Express, it would surprise her no matter how many times she went to the platform, it was just so magical.
"You know you'll be the first one I tell, Mione. Nobody else is interested in that stuff" Lacy countered with a cheeky grin, before her eyes trailed over to a girl with growing black hair. "I found Pansy, do you mind if I take my leave?"
Hermione shook her head immediately, pointing to where Ron came through the wall with Tonks and Ginny. "I'll have them, go have fun"
"See you later, Mione!" Lacy grinned before she ran off to her black haired friend, eager to talk to her after being separated for over a month. "Pans!"
"Lacy" Pansy spun around with a small smile on her face, and Lacy quickly went crashing into the girl, accidentally pushing the pair of them to the ground, making a chorus of laughter to sound from them both as they landed beside each other. "Merlin, Lacy. That was a bit more than I had expected"
"Sorry, I got really excited" Lacy responded happily, before she slowly tugged herself from the ground, holding a hand out to help her best friend, who gratefully took it. "We should go to the compartment now, I'm sure Theo is warring the boys tolerance down as we speak"
"Of course he is, the dimwit" Pansy cursed under her breathe, following the blonde who trailed off ahead, quickly running swiftly so she was next to the girl.
The pair quickly hoped onto the train and began their walk down the hallway, ignoring any looks they got from people who hated Slytherin, some stopped and smiled at Lacy as they accepted her more, but that didn't stop their harsh looks at Pansy.
"Hi Brooklyn" Lacy waved as she passed the tanned girl who was sat with Neville, the pair waved back at the girl, who soon continued her walk, Pansy rolling her eyes at the friendly girl. "I do hope Theo is still breathing when we get there"
"I don't" Pansy responded shortly, her irritation for the boy showing again. "Where were you for the last few weeks, to never answered my letters"
"I wasn't allowed to" Lacy stated, turning back with a secretive look on her face, Pansy nodded as she accepted that as the answer, Lacy would tell her when she's ready. "Did you hear about Harry's trial?"
"Yeah, it was completely stupid" Pansy agreed with Lacy on that, she didn't like Potter, but she had thought that it was stupid about how they were trying to kick him out of the school for saying you-know-who's back.
"Agreed" Lacy said back, before she slid the door to a compartment open, smiling at the occupants. "Hi guys"
"What are you wearing?" Draco asked in a snippy tone, and Lacy frowned as she looked down at her green Weasley jumper with the grey 'L' on it.
"A jumper?" Lacy answered in confusion, glancing at Theo, who shrugged as he had no idea why he was so pressed about the jumper. "If you have a problem Draco, we both know it isn't about the jumper"
"What's up with you?" Theo questioned, only for Draco to roll his eyes in return.
"I won't apologise for being friends with Harry, if that's what this is about" Lacy countered, standing bravely as Pansy slowly lowered herself onto a chair.
Draco stood up in a snap, making Blaise rise to his feet as well, not knowing what was happening. Lacy and Draco met eyes and glared at each other for a couple moments before Draco let out a scoff. "Things are going to be different this year, Potter won't get his treatment"
"He never got any in the first place" Lacy responded coldly, folding her arms over as she squared him. "If I were you Malfoy, I'd watch your tongue, change is necessary in life. And you should know that whatever people have planned for this year, won't break anyone down, it will make us stronger"
